Shane Helms vs. PrimeTime
Back and forth flipping and such. The way this goes is the winner goes on to face the next guy in the drawing, until there is one guy at the end. PT takes early control, and does a Vader Bomb, no wait he turns in mid air and does a legdrop. Shane rebounds and turns a PT backslide into a Vertebreaker.
Winner: Shane

Shane Helms vs. Outraegous Evan Karagias
Brawling begins on the floor, Evan takes control and hits a springboard cross body back in. Shane goes for the vertebreaker very quickly on Evan. Wow.
Winner: Shane

Shane Helms vs. You Can’t Powerbomb Kidman (unless you’re Mike Awesome)
Kidman takes control early. Tenay says it’s been two years since he has been cruiserweight champ. Winner of this weird tournament gets the PPV title shot. Shane tries the nightmare on Helms Street, Kidman turns it into a Sit out powerbomb. German suplex bridged by Shane. Wait, it was an X plex. Tenay seems to think 3count is done. Tornado bulldog by Kidman for 2. Kidman goes for the Kid Crusher, Shane blocks and goes for Vertebreaker, Kidman reverses it back to the Crusher.
Winner: Kidman

Kidman vs. Yang
Back and forth. Yang snaps the neck across the top rope. Kidman with a neat side slam. Yang takes control, Kidman with a boot to the face and a rana for 2. Yang up, but Kidman hits a pedigree! Yang with some offense. Rolls up Kidman out of the corner. Yang up top, brings up Kidman for something, but Kidman blocks and hits a wicked second rope Kid Crusher.
Winner: Kidman

Kidman vs. Jamie Knoble
Missile dropkick by Jamie right away for a quick 2 count. Flying forearm for 2. Kidman with an HOMBRE BLASTER! Sorry that’s an inverse suplex for those not in the know. Kidman up top, Jamie follows. He hits a top rope rana for 2. Jamie puts Kidman on top. Follows, but Kidman grabs him and hits an amazing Juvi Driver from the top! Hip toss, Jamie holds, Kidman tries Crusher, Jamie reverses into a tombstone, reversed by Kidman, reversed by Jamie and hits! WOW!
Winner: Jamie Knoble!!

Jamie vs. Baggie Pants Jr.
Rey runs down and we go right into it. Jamie sent to the floor, Sliding tornado DDT by Rey. Rey plays to the crowd, jumps in at Jamie who reverses into a powerbomvb for 2. Jamie picks up Rey, reversed into some kind of cool slam. Slingshot legdrop.
Winner: Rey

Rey vs. Two L Shaped Sideburns
Lash’s old Cajun music! Lash with some Bajou dancing. Damn I forget the stupid name he gave it. Rey hits the broncobuster. Split legged moonsault by Rey.
Winner: Rey

Rey vs. Shannon Moore
He runs down. All types of flying and such. Shannon with a slingshot legdrop for 2. Go behinds and standing switches, cool pin by Rey and wow that was quick.
Winner: Rey

Rey vs. Kaz
Rapid fire kicks by Kaz. Stiff kick to the face. Cover for 2. Kaz with a powerbomb for 2. Rey with a sunset flip attempt, Kaz rolls out, charges at Rey into the corner, Rey moves, Kaz’s shoulder hits the STEEEEEL ringpost. Rey brings Kaz up top and goes for a top rope rana, Kaz blocks, Rey readjusts and hits that cool top rope bulldog.
Winner and #1 contender: Rey

JJ and stuff chat. Rection walks by, and JJ laughs at him. Rection yells at JJ, and Rection attacks him. Man does he suck. No, not the Chosen One.

Glacier promo

Norman walks into a room and talks to Glacier who is off screen. Glacier keeps saying “ha HA!” They chat.

The Cat is here. He makes some matches for tonight. I wont spoil them for you, you will have to read the rest of the report! He does say Big Poppa Dump quite a few times.

Flair backstage watches Cat on the monitor with his troops.

Commercial Break

Shane talks to Bam Bam backstage. He wants to get in good with Flair’s boys. They slap hands. Hey, remember when they were the Triple Threat for like a week?

Norman Smiley vs. Mike Awesome w/Major Trash
Awesome looks so much better sans mullet. Gunns looks so much better neck down. Awesome in control. Announcer talk about Goldberg, even though he is retired. Smiley takes control with a European uppercut, then seems to look for something and Awesome clotheslines him. Butterfly suplex by Awesome. Awesome in full control. Awesome continues in control, then the music starts… and yes, here comes Glacier. Norman sees him and signals for him to come down. Glacier comes down, Awesome hits a release German suplex. Glacier slaps hands with the fans as Smiley is beaten. Butt splash by Norman. Glacier poses for pictures. Awesome throws Smiley to the floor, Awesome tosses Smiley into the STEEEEEEL railing. Glacier is just walking around. Awesome flies back in with a big splash for 2. Running Awesomebomb? No Smiley floats back. Awesome gets hit with a powerslam. Awesome up top as Smiley asks for Glacier’s help. Flying shoulderblock. Glacier music still going on. Running Awesomebomb.
Winner: Mike Awesome

Glacier comes into the ring after the match and grabs the mic. He will be here to watch Norman’s back! The blue light! More music! Glacier has returned!

Commercial Break

Gene interviews Glacier and Norman backstage. Glacier talks as if he is a big hero and star, but, wink wink, he has done nothing.

Totally Buff talks to Crowbar backstage, they will give him another chance to be in the Flair camp. As Crowbar walks away, they mock him.

Here comes THE Kwee Wee and Paisley. Soft spoken Kwee Wee is back. He wants the attention of Flair. He challenges anyone. He pulls a fan from the crowd and beats him up. Kwee Wee piledrives the fan.

Note to WCW: Kwee Wee, his character, segments with Kwee Wee, matches with Kwee Wee and anything else Kwee Wee-related SUCKS

Gene interviews Kronic. They talk about their match with Scott and Animal later. Kronic has backup, they say, and bring in the Insiders, Rick and Cat.

The Cho Cho Chosen One vs. Huge Morrus
JJ on the mic, talks about DDP and how he beat DDP in the triple cage last year. That ruled! Pushing and shoving. Brawling. To the floor. “TCB” tattoo on Hugh’s arm. I think he meant to get TCBY (The Country’s Best Yogurt) but ran out of money like that guy in the commercial who got a “Don” tattoo when he wanted “Donna” but only had 41 bucks. Oh yeah this match. It’s horrible. Into the ring, JJ goes to work. Morrus takes control, goes up top, and Wall is down sneaking around. Top rope elbow by Hugh for 2. goes for moonsault. Wall sneaks around the ring and goes to chokeslam Hugh, but Hogh reverses, and Ho Trains JJ in the corner. Ref distracted by JJ’s attempts to get a guitar, Wall is in for a chokeslam. JJ back up, The Stroke.
Winner: Jarrett

JJ and Wall double team Hugh, JJ gets the guitar, and DDP emerges from the crowd and clears out the heels. DDP holds up the guitar on the middle rope!

Crowbar w/Daffney vs. Big Ron Harris w/Heavy D
Heavy D has the neck brace. Mike: Tony, you buying the neck brace THIS WEEK. Daffney has a megaphone and silly string. Harris goes to work. Harris in control. Belly to back by Harris. Back into the ring. Crowbar getting very little offense in. Legdrop to the crotch by Crowbar. Flying back elbow for 2. Harris retakes control briefly, Crowbar floats back from a powerslam and hits the inverse DDT. Slingshot splash, moonsault and pins for only 2. Crowbar and ref chat and we do the OLD SWITCHEROO. The other Harris in for a spinebuster. Blech.

Gene interviews Dogfaced Rick.

Sid video package. Tenay talks to a doctor about the injury.

Dogfaced Rick vs. Bam Bam Bam
Lots of brawling in the ring. We move to the floor for amore technical brawling display. Back into the ring, BBB slowly works on Rick. Top rope headbutt by BBB, Rick kicks out. DDT by Rick. Middle rope bulldog.
Winner: Rick

Rick on the mic, you want some, yadda yadda yadda.

Backstage, Team Flair is happy until they run into the Cat. Steiner goes to attack the Cat, Flair stops him and then BAM hits the Cat with brass knucks. Camera into the dressing room, Team Flair had taken out the Insiders.

Commercial Break

Backstage, Kronic and Rick tend to DDP and Nash. Rick tells Kronic to go the ring. As Kronic leaves, Shane attacks Rick.

Road Warrior Animal and Big Poppa Pump vs. Kronic
Why is Animal coming out to Vince Russo’s music? That’s a joke folks. Steiner on the mic.

Commercial Break

Clarke and Animal to start. Animal starts his 80s style offense. Elbow, cover for 2. Adams is in, Animal uses his gut to get Adams to the mat. Tag to Steiner. Steiner backs Adams into the corner. Adams with a full nelson slam and sends Steiner to the floor. Steiner back in, and gains control. Stomps. Steinerline, biceps kiss, elbow drop, pushups. Goldberg chant. Tag to Fat Animal. Big boot to Adams. Steiner back in, Adams knocks him down. Both down, who will make the tag? BOTH and Clarke, folks, is a HOUSE ON FIRE. Clarke goes to work on Steiner. Takes on Animal on the apron. Clarke goes for meltdown on Steiner. Scott floats back and hits a t bone. Animal is in. Tony callsit a trademark of Animal, a shoulderblock. Clarke with a meltdown on Fat Animal for 2 until the Steiner save. All four in the ring. Adams clears Steiner to the floor. Double team by Kronic on Animal. Signal for High Times. Here comes Totally Buff. Here comes the Cat. High Times on Kronic? He fights out of it. Full nelson by Adams, Animal out of it, they are stalling. High Times by Kronic.
Winners: Kronic

Steiner back in with a STEEEEEEEL pipe and takes out Kronic. Rest of Team Flair is here and they beat down Kronic and the Cat.
