411’s WWE Raw Report 2.17.14

John Cena makes his way to the ring to kick off the show. Cena plays to the crowd a bit, and reminds us that the Elimination Chamber is just 6-days away. A match so violent that it could end a career; but he believes that nothing is gained in life without sacrifice. And the winner of that match will main event WrestleMania 30 against Batista. He has been on the road to WrestleMania many, many time; some are with me and some wish they could kick him out of the card. Everyone in the match has momentum, accept for that baby Randy Orton. Daniel Bryan defeated Orton, he defeated Orton, odds are that we will see a new champion at the PPV.

Cesaro, who was not named, now makes his way out with Colter. Colter says Cesaro is the next champion. Cesaro agrees, and will not only become the new face of the WWE, but will also become the new face of America. Cena calls him into the ring, and says if he has to say something, say it to his face. He puts over Cesaro for beating Orton on Smackdown, but says it is more about Orton being on a losing streak. At the chamber, Cesaro has to deal with Cena, Sheamus, Christian, Orton and Bryan.

Sheamus then appears, and says he has been in the chamber, and there is no other match like it. He says their faces will look funny on Sunday when he kicks their faces in. But tonight, that honor goes to Orton.

Christian then appears. Christian brings up Sheamus brogue kicking him on Smackdown, but he is not mad because it was an accident, but it won’t be Sunday when he plants him with the killswitch.

Guess who, Randy Orton is here. He thanks the Authority for getting the chance to beat all of these guys Sunday. He under estimated Cesaro, sure Cena beat him but Cena cannot beat him when it counts. He and Christian have had incredible matches, that is true, but he has won each and everyone of the, because he is the face of the WWE. As for Sheamus, the brogue kick will not get close to him.

And now Daniel Bryan is out. Everyone is in the ring now, and Bryan says that they have done a lot of talking, but the people are doing his talking for him. Everyone here knows how important the chamber match is for him, because it leads to WrestleMania. He has worked too hard to let that slip through his fingers. There will be an entire arena of people chanting one word, YES! YES! YES! YES!

And now Kane is out. Kane says that the Authority has given him a chance to make up for mistakes he made recently. He is in charge tonight. The face of the WWE, Randy Orton will face Sheamus tonight, so in fairness to him, the rest of the will be in action. Cesaro will face John Cena. Christian will face Daniel Bryan, and he will be at ringside, because that match is NOW!

Roman Reigns faces Mark Henry later tonight.

The Wyatt Family will face Sin Cara and Los Matadores.

Christian attacks Bryan as Kane distracted him, and takes him to the floor and beats him down. Kane is pleased as Christian slams Bryan to the steps.

Daniel Bryan vs. Christian
The referee checks on Bryan, and the match officially starts. Christian works the arm, following his attack at ringside before the break. Off the ropes, and a knee to the gut by Bryan. Uppercuts follow, Bryan sends Christian to the floor, charges for the dive but eats a right by Christian. Christian lays the boots to Bryan, and then back to the arm. Bryan fights to his feet, off the ropes and a shoulder block by Christian, and a cover for 2. Christian stays focused on the arm, and then mocks the YES chants. Christian stomps away at the arm of Bryan, and then goes Arm Anderson with a hammerlock slam. He works a hammerlock now, Bryan elbows out, but a shoulder block by Christian gets another cover for 2. Mounted punches to the arm by Christian, but Bryan with the half crab for a moment, Christian escapes and slams Bryan to the corner. He ties up the arm in the ropes, then climbs to the second rope and gets a tornado single arm DDT for 2. Repeated head butts to the arm by Christian, a right follows. Christian charges, but Bryan send shim to the floor. Suicide dove connects!

~commercial time~

Back from commercial as Christian works the arm of Bryan. Bryan fights to his feet, rights to escape and then to the corner, a whip by Christian, Bryan counters and hits a running clothesline. Bryan starts to fire up and lays in the kicks to Christian. Big kick to the face and Bryan covers for 2. Bryan heads up top, and the flying head butt is countered by knees and Christian covers for 2. Christian works the arm in the ropes again, rights follow. Christian misses a charge, kicks by Bryan follow. Shotgun dropkick connects. Christian counters the second, and then gets the spinning uppercut off the ropes. Killswitch countered into the YES lock. Christian counters, escapes and slams Bryan to the corner. Killswitch countered into a rollup and Bryan wins!

Kane says that Kane did well, unfortunately he forgot to tell him he has one more match tonight, against ME! Kane attacks as we head to commercial…

Kane vs. Daniel Bryan
Back from commercial, match JIP as Kane lays the boots to Bryan. Kane is attacking the shoulder of Bryan, continuing the work Christian started. Kane beats down Bryan on the apron, suplexes him in and covers for 2. Punches to the bad arm of Bryan, and then shoots him to the corner shoulder first. Kane slams Bryan to the corner once again shoulder first, and then works the arm in the ropes followed by kicks to the back of Bryan. Stun gun off the ropes for Bryan, up top and hits the missile dropkick. Kicks by Bryan, but Kane goozles him to stop that and tosses Bryan to the floor. Kane follows and slams Bryan to the barricade. Rights follow, and then Kane tries to wrap his arm the wrong way around the post, and then gets DQ’d for kicking too much ass.

Kane continues to punish Bryan on the floor and lays the arm on the steps and kicks it. Kane grabs the mic and says, “Yeah I know, I’m disqualified.”

We get highlights of Henry vs. Ambrose from last week, and the Shield’s attack on Henry. Henry faces Reigns tonight.

Renee Young is with the Shield. She asks Reigns about his match, and Ambrose is surprised Henry showed up after the beating he gave him last week. Reigns said Ambrose lost, but Ambrose said he softened him up for tonight. Rollins says that they are always on the same page, and as for the Elimination Chamber PPV match with the Wyatts, they were bred for war. Ambrose says the Wyatts are an illusion. Reigns says they do not experience fear and do not back down, so believe in the Shield.

Fandango w/Summer Rae vs. Santino w/Emma
They aired an NXT profile on Emma prior to the match. Fandango takes Santino to the corner, off the ropes and speed walking by Santino. Fandango cuts him off, odd the ropes and a back elbow by Fandango gets 2. Fandango celebrates, hits a short-armed clothesline, to the second rope and MISSES a knee drop. Fandango battled back, hip toss and the head butt connects. COBRA time. Santino sets, Summer tries to distract him and Emma picks her up and airplane spins her on the floor and slams her down. Emma gets dizzy, Santino checks on her and gives him the eyes. They go to kiss and Fandango ruins it with a baseball slide dropkick. Falcon Arrow suplex by Fandango and that is all.

Mark Henry walks. Renee Young tries to get an interview, and Henry says that he should have won the US Title last week. Didn’t happen, but tonight, against Reigns, it s not about titles or winning it is about inducting someone into the hall of pain. BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT HE DO!

Mark Henry vs. Roman Reigns w/Rollins and Ambrose
They slowly circle as the bell rings, big rights by Reigns, but Henry with the big boot and then the corner splash. Rights in the corner by Henry, but Reigns back with the boot to the gut and then rights. Reigns works a side headlock, fights back to his feet, but Reigns then hits a Samoan drop and covers for 2. Henry cuts off Reigns, head butts ala JYD, and the corner splash. Reigns kicks way Henry, sets, and hits the Superman punch. Reigns hits the spear, and that is all.

Rollins looks to celebrate with Reigns, while Ambrose is not impressed. Ambrose then attacks Henry and lays the boots to him and sends him to the floor. Reigns wants to know what he is doing, and the Wyatt’s appear on the screen with Bray singing, “Joy Down in My Heart”. Their day of reckoning nears, and a child like excitement grows in him. The shattered bones will pave the way to his kingdom, but he must ask, in the end, was it al worth it? Harper asks if they are willing to die for this. Bray says if they aren’t, they have already lost. Reigns grabs the mic and challenges them to come to the ring and bring that noise. Bray says funny they should say that, because they were thinking the same thing. Rowan says “run” and here they come. The Shield stands tall in the ring as the Wyatts stand on the floor. The Wyatts edge closer, and climb to the apron. Bray enters first and Reigns steps center ring. Everyone in now and they stand off talking trash. Bray backs off the family and they hit the floor and that ends that.

The Rhodes Brothers vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel is the Elimination chamber pre-show match.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust play with the WWE Stackdown play set, which are similar to Legos. Goldust discusses ripping wings off of butterflies and gluing them to a hamster. Wade Barrett arrives, and has bad news, and kicks the toys. Cody says they can rebuild things, Goldust is upset that the Undertaker

Jack Swagger w/Colter vs. Kofi Kingston
Swagger attacks at the bell, Kofi tries to counter out, and a German by Swagger gets a close 2. Short-armed clothesline by Swagger gets 2. Crowd chants for JBL, not a good sign for these guys. Swagger grounds Kofi, tries to work the arm. Kofi battles back, but Swagger catches him and slams him to the corner. Swagger bomb follows, and a cover gets 2. Forearm to the back by Swagger, to the corner, a whip across, Kofi hits hard and drops to the mat. Another whip, but Kofi runs up and then off with a missile dropkick. Kofi up top, with the big clothesline. Running clotheslines and a dropkick follows. Swagger slams Kofi to the corner, but Kofi with kicks and then the shadows over hell connects for 2. Kofi then hits the SOS and covers Swagger for 2, as Swagger got the ropes. Swagger then pulls Kofi to the floor, Kofi up top, high cross connects and a cover gets 2. Swagger into the patriot lock, Kofi fights, but has to tap.

Non-Title Handicap Match: Big E © vs. Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre
And here we go. Double clothesline by Big E. Tosses Drew, off the ropes and a slam to Mahal. Colter on the mic and tries to distract Big E, and does live commentary. Drew and Mahal take control, and beat down Big E. Big E back with a boot, tosses Drew and then hits a shoulder block on Mahal. Side back breaker to Mahal, another and then Drew in and dropkicks Big E and covers for 2.Knee drops by Mahal as Colter continues to talk smack on Big E. Double team suplex on Big E, and Drew covers for 2. Running knee by Mahal and a cover gets 1. Big E starts to fight back, backdrop to Mahal, tosses Drew again and then hits the clothesline on Mahal. Another, belly to belly connects. One for Drew as well. Splash to both men connects. Corner spear to Mahal and then to Drew. Overhead suplex onto Mahal Straps down, big ending and then hits the big ending on Drew, covers, and that is all.

Renee Young is with John Cena. She asks him about his match with Cesaro, and Cena says last week he made a statement that the WWE is filled with promising young stars and Orton is clinging to his title. Every star know Cena means what he says, and they will go through Cena to prove that they have it. Cesaro is no different. Tonight, well, we’ll see what Cesaro is made of.

John Cena vs. Cesaro w/Colter and Swagger
Lock up to begin, and Cesaro with a roll up for 1. Back to the lock up, hammerlock by Cesaro. Cesaro into the side headlock, counter by Cena into a headlock takedown. Cesaro to his feet, off the ropes and a shoulder block by Cena. Off the ropes again, counter, hip toss by Cena and Cesaro takes a powder to talk with his team. Cesaro back in, they lock up again and Cena takes Cesaro down. Kip up by Cesaro, and he works the arm and then into the side headlock takedown. Off the ropes, shoulder block by Cesaro. Tilt a whirl back breaker follows for Cesaro connects. Double stomp by Cesaro, and a cover gets 2. Cesaro back to the arm, Cena works to his feet and hip tosses his way out. Cena charges, but Cesaro sidesteps him and sends Cena to the floor. Cesaro then tosses Cena to the barricade, back in and Cesaro allows the ref to count. Cena to the apron, stuns Cesaro off the ropes, back in but runs into a dropkick and Cesaro covers for 2. Cesaro back to the side headlock, Cena again works to his feet, goes for the AA, but Cesaro to the apron and stun guns Cena off the ropes. Elbow drop off the ropes by Cesaro, and a cover gets 2. Knee to the chest of Cena, but Cena comes back with a pop up neck breaker and a cover gets 2. Cesaro shoots Cena to the corner, he hits hard and drops to the mat. Baseball slide dropkick by Cesaro sends Cena to the floor…

Back from commercial as Cesaro is in control, but Cena is firing back with rights. RANA by Cena! Cross body caught by Cesaro, sack of shit slam into a pinning combo by Cesaro for 2. Rights by Cena now, boots follow. Off the ropes, counter and a sleeper by Cesaro. Cena has him on his back and slams him to the corner. Cesaro back with a clothesline and covers for 2. Back to the grounded headlock by Cesaro, trying to keep Cena down, but he gets to his feet. He slams Cesaro to the corner, off the ropes and a shoulder block by Cesaro. Another, Cesaro counters the proto bomb, tries the swing, but Cena gets the STF, countered by Cesaro and up into the gutwrench suplex! Cesaro covers for 2. Punches in the corner by Cesaro, an uppercut follows. Cesaro shoots Cena to the corner, misses the charge and the proto bomb connects. Five-knuckle shuffle by Cena connects. Looks for the AA, countered and POP UP UPPERCUT by Cesaro and a cover gets 2. Cesaro calls for the giant swing, and here we go, no Cena pulls himself up into a DDT and covers for a close 2! Both men are down now, Cena to his feet and heads up top. Cesaro over and UPPERCUTS CENA TO THE FLOOR! The ref counts, Cena tries to get back in and to the apron. Cesaro grabs him and gets the DEADLIFT SUPERPLEX! 1…2…NO! Cover again for another 2. Cesaro talks smack, but Cena then locks in the STF. Cena pulls him back, but Cesaro kicks him away, GIANT SWING! Cove for another close 2. Cesaro to his feet, neutralizer try, countered, AA by Cena countered and a big boot by Cesaro! Off the ropes, and a clothesline by Cena takes Cesaro out of his boots. Cena then rolls onto Cesaro, picks him up into the AA and that is all.

Randy Orton talks with Triple H and says he appreciates everything the Authority has done for him. Triple H was thinking that the pressure was getting to him. Sure he lost to Bryan, Cena and Cesaro, but he sees he is making an effort. Orton says he will prove himself at the Chamber, and appreciates everything Triple H has done for him in the past and will do for him in the future. Orton starts to talk shit on Batista, who is right behind him. Batista says Orton is the ass of the WWE. Orton leaves pissed off. Triple H laughs, and Del Rio appears wearing a neck brace, calling Batista an animal. Del Rio says he is a man, and Sunday, he will make Baitsta pay. He also says he hopes Batista doesn’t plan on using his arms at WrestleMania, because he will break them and rip them off. Batista shoves Del Rio into a cart.

Renee Young says Titus O’Neil vs. Darren Young has been added to the Chamber PPV. We see clips from their brawl on Smackdown. Titus appears and steals the mic, and says he is here to become a champion, and asks Renee to spell champion, Titus cuts her off and spells his name for champion. He was held back by Young, and says Sunday that the dead weight will get mowed over, and the WWE Universe and locker room will have to do one thing, and that is witness the rise of Titus O’Neil.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) vs. Sin Cara and Los Mataodres w/Torito
The rematch from Main Event everyone wanted. Rowan starts and works over a Mataodre. He then obliterates him with a shoulder block, and tags in Harper. Harper lays the boots to him, off the ropes and a clothesline connects followed by elbow drops. A slam by Harper, and a cover for 2. Tag to Bray, mounted forearm shots to the back of the head of the Mataodre, and a suplex toss follows. Tag to Rowan, knee drop connects and a slam follows. Skull crush by Rowan, and then the elbow drop and a cover for 2. To the corner, tag to Harper and a right to the Mataodre. An uppercut connects and the gator roll follows. Side headlock by Harper, the Mataodre fights back and crawls for a tag, stopped and then hits an enziguri. Tag to Cara, springboard dropkick connects. Springboard cross body follows for 2. A head scissors connects, takes out Bray, and hits the back handspring elbow for 2 as Rowan makes a save. Rowan to the floor, Torito dives onto him and gets tossed away, and the Mataodres with the dives onto Rowan. Sin Cara with a roll up on Harper for 2. Cara counters a powerbomb, enziguri, up top and misses the senton, spinning clothesline takes out Cara. Tag to Bray, sister Abigail connects and that is all.

Jey Uso w/Jimmy vs. Billy Gunn w/Road Dogg
These teams will face for the tag titles at the Elimination Chamber. Jimmy and Dogg are on commentary. Lock up, to the corner and Jey escapes and slams Gunn to the corner. Boot by Gunn, to the corner and rights by Gunn. Jey with a counter, arm drags follow and Gunn rolls to the floor. Road Dogg over for a talk, and as Jey tries to grab Gunn, he gets pulled to the floor. Jey fights back, back in the ring and a clothesline by Gunn takes Jey out of his boots and covers for 2. Rights by Gunn, and a cover gets 2. Side headlock by Gunn, as they completely focus on the commentary instead of the match. Gunn in control still, rights to Jey and then clubbing shots to the back. Fameasser countered, and a roll up by Jey gets the win.

Jimmy lays out Road Dogg with a superkick on the floor, and then Jey hits a dive onto the Outlaws. The Usos celebrate.

Byron Saxton is with Sheamus. Sheamus says that the chamber match is a war, and you have to make sacrifices. He can taste the main event of WrestleMania 30. Earlier we saw Christian get aggressive, and well, he has never had an issue getting aggressive. And tonight, Randy Orton will find that out tonight. He has some Irish style, blunt force trauma to dish out tonight.

Christian faces Sheamus on Friday’s Smackdown.

Non-Title Match: Randy Orton © vs. Sheamus
And here we go with tonight’s main event. Orton points to the WrestleMania sign (DRINK). Lock up to begin, to the corner, and then Orton rolls to the floor. Back in, lock up again and to the corner they go. The ref separates them, they circle, and a side headlock by Sheamus. Off the ropes, a shoulder block by Sheamus, and Orton to the floor again. Orton back in, rights and uppercuts by Sheamus connect. A suplex follows, and Orton again rolls to the floor. Sheamus follows, and Orton slams him to the steel post. They brawl at ringside, Sheamus slams Orton to the announce table and then back into the ring, knee drops by Sheamus and a cover for 2. Sheamus misses the brogue kick, gets caught up in the ropes and Orton slam shim to the post and Sheamus falls to the floor…

Back from commercial and Orton works a headlock. Sheamus works to get to his feet, does and elbows out. Belly to back suplex by Sheamus gets him out of that. A clothesline by Sheamus sends Orton to the floor. Sheamus follows, and then slams Orton to the barricade. He does it again, tries a third time, but Orton reverses and slams Sheamus to the steps. Orton back into the ring, and Sheamus beats the count. Stomps by Orton, sets Sheamus on the ropes and then delivers a head butt. Orton with another, follows Sheamus up and looks for the superplex, Sheamus fights him off and then hits the shoulder block off the top. Orton rolls to the floor, and hits a belly to back suplex on Sheamus onto the announce table. The ref counts as Orton poses in the corner. Sheamus makes it back into the ring, Orton then stomps away at Sheamus. Orton then misses a knee drop, clotheslines by Sheamus follow, off the ropes but Orton gets the snap slam and covers for 2. Orton looks for the hangman’s DDT, Sheamus out and sends Orton to the apron. Clubbing shots by Sheamus, pulls Orton in and looks for the Finlay roll, 3.0 back breaker by Orton connects. Orton then gets the hangman’s DDT, and poses for the crowd. He drops down and pounds the mat, RKO countered and Sheamus with the Irish curse back breaker, a second and then a third. Sheamus looks for the brogue kick and the Shield attacks for the DQ.

Cena and Bryan hit the ring to try and even up the odds, and here are Cesaro and Christian. The Wyatt Family appears and WE HAVE THE BRAWL WITH THE SHIELD! It’s pandemonium in the ring as everyone brawls. We’re out of time!
