Welcome to RAW! It’s Tony Acero, and I’m back with a vengeance….for this week, at least! We start the show with the Immortal Hulk Hogan…who, judging by his age, pretty much fits the moniker. He comes out a-pointin, and wants to hear it from the Hulkamaniacs! He wants to tell us somethin! His last two weeks have been totally off the chain. Everyone is welcoming him back home. And when he’s at home doin nothing, he watches the WWE Network and relives the glory days. He calls Ultimate Warrior jacked up and mentions Savage then brings up he and Andre. He watches Mania III now and he gets more and more amped up, and as he slams on the screen, he gets crazier and crazier. I imagine him with a sandwich….

He says during the watching of the match, he came up with an intense idea – so intense, that he couldn’t wait until Monday…but did. In celebrating 30 years, and in honor of one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time, we’re going to have an over-the-top 30-Man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Brother. (Brother is a part of the title, y’all). Whoever wins the Battle Royal will with the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Brother Trophy! We go to the big screen and see a bronzed out Andre the Giant triphy with no chocolate inside, complete with spiffy music. Hogan wants to know what we’re going to do when Hulkamania and the memory of the giant runs wild on us.

Speaking of runnin wild….John Cena’s music hits. He’s in the ring and likes the energy of the fans. Tonight, he sees a sign that says Hogan still rules. Cena agrees, welcomes Hogan home, and says thank you. The man who was there when Mania was born, thirty years ago, is right back where he belongs. It’s cray cray, says Cena. He says that tonight, Hogan started a tradition of his own – the Battle Royal. Cena calls his favorite moment was when Hogan beat Andre. For him, it was….wait….is there a point to all of this? Anywhoo, Cena says he knew then that Hulkamania would live forever. So when a man like Hogan comes out to create a battle royal to honor Andre, he asks one question….whatcha gonna (BOOOOOOOOO!!!!).

Well Cena enters his name into the over-the-top 30-Man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Brother. Bray Wyatt cuts him off on the big screen and tells Memphis that they are here. Wyatt’s rockin in his chair.

He has always been fascinated with Pride; it’s his favorite sin. It has the power to blind even the strongest men. Even those who claim to be immortal. “Hey kids, take your vitamins and say your prayers. All praise be to Hustle, Loyalty, and respect – as if they can do you any good.” Cena and Hogan are both liars, and your foolish pride allows them to prey upon the weak and fill them with hope. But hope is dead, as will be Cena’s legacy. He can see it in Cena’s eyes; he doesn’t get it. But how could he get something he doesn’t understand. If Cena looks up at Wyatt, he will see a friend. If he looks down on him, he will see an enemy, but if he looks Wyatt square in the eye, he will see….A God!

Cena is on the mic, wants to know if Wyatt listens to everything he says. He just said that pride is the fall of man then calls himself God? He says he sees a homeless dude who is a bit too drunk, then starts a sing-a-long of Margaritaville. He disses the rocking chair…low blow, Johnny. Low blow. Cena wants Wyatt to prove to himself. Cena challenges Wyatt at Mania and promises an ass-whoopin of a life time.

Wyatt figured as much. More empty promises and more hope. It’s always fun and games with John, until it;s him that’s caught in the spider’s web. The Wyatt’s head to the apron. Cena takes his shirt off. Hogan, thankfully, keeps his on….and we go to commercial…

    -Commercial Break-

We’re back with the match in progress.

Match 1: John Cena vs Eric Rowan

Rowan attacks the leg and pins for 2. Cole reminds us that the leg of Cena is damaged, since Cena forgot. Rowan does the Slaughter fists against Cena’s head. Cena breaks it, hits the ropes, and runs into a knee. A sloppy Pumphandle from Rowan gets 1…2..NO! Elbow from Rowan. He goes for a kick. Cena rolls away but gets clipped. Right hand from Rowan followed up by a missed elbow. Hogan is ringside, by the way. Cena flies into a crossbody, but Rowan catches and hits a Fallaway Slam. Rowan runs into Cena in the corner, tosses him down and pins for 1….2..NO! Cena backs into the corner. Rowan runs, Cena moves, falls, ducks a clothesline, hits the ropes, and is caught with a bear hug! Rowan ragdolls Cena a bit, which is kinda cool. Cena turns away from Rowan, grabs the arms to break the hold, so Rowan just hits him hard in the back. Rowan with a body slam.
Rowan grabs the head of Cena, sends Cena up top, but Cena rolls over the shoulders then rolls up Rowan. Pin for 1…2….3!!
    Official Result: John Cena
    What a clunky ass affair…
    RATING: *

Wyatt is pissed off. He sends the brothers back into the ring. Cena puts his fists up like he’s a fifteen year old girl on her first day of self-defense class. The Wyatt Fam think twice and drop down from the apron. Bray and the Family walk away up the ramp as the music of Hogan plays for no discernable reason.

The announcers play up the fact that Cena and Hogan are in the ring together as something huge. Hogan does his cater and pose, and tries to include Cena in on it. It all comes off seemingly forced. Or is that just me?

    -Commercial Break-

BOW DOWN TO THE GAYMUH! Trips and his wifey comes out. Steph’s got the stick (eyoooo). She says that last Monday, Bryan attacked Triple H, then suffered the consequences via Pedigree. Bryan’s actions are grounds for immediate termination, but they are going to lead by example and offers a sincere apology – it’s what’s best for bidness. There is value in the Daniel Bryan brand – not as much as Batista, Orton, or even Triple H. There’s a certain “niche” following. They will not fire Bryan tonight as long as he publically apologizes to them. It’s time that Bryan admits that he’s wrong to himself. He is not man enough to be in the ring with TRiple H, not now, not neva. Triple H is above Daniel Bryan. As long as Bryan apologizes, we can move forward. If not, there will be severe consequnces. They hope we enjoy the rest of the show. The music of the Outlaws hit, and they come out in t-shirt and jeans. They shake the hand of Triple H, give Steph the ol peck and check, then head to the commentary booth.

    -Commercial Break-

Flying Crossbody Splash across the ring, with a mid turn AND a SUCK IT in the middle of the air onto Axel! Pin for 1…2….3!!
    Official Result: The Usos
Short, but that’s fine – I’m not trying to see Axel and Ryback any more than I have to. Nice finish.
    RATING: **

Backstage, Kane is berating The Shield. He brings up Ambrose abandoning teammates, Rollins doing the same, then them airing grievances in public on Smackdown. Dean wants to know the point in all of this. Kane says he sees value in them and wants to know if they can remain disposable or if they can remain valuable assets. He says that Rollins and Reigns will face the Rhodes Brothers tonight. Rollins is wondering; is this about The Shield, or are they trying to deflect the fact that Kane got pinned by Bryan…again. Or how about last week, when The Big Show knocked him out and he got pinned by Bryan. Kane says enough, and offers them the opportunity to step it up. Ambrose says they will – they always do – and they’ll exorcise that demon he’s talking about. Reigns steps up, says “just like they’ll do to any other ‘demon’ that gets in their way.” Deeeeeeyum.

Average match that was more a means to an end than anything…so how bout that IC Title
    RATING: **

After the match, Swagger is upset and gets in the face of Cesaro. Cesaro takes offense and stands ground. They then argue about each other with Zeb. Zeb screams so loudly, his mustache quivers. He berates both of them, says it’s gone far enough. He removes his vest, drops it to the mat, yells for them to shake hands. Swagger refuses. Cesaro extends his hand out. Swagger, after much debate, does so. They shake, but Cesaro pulls some strength out and clinches the shake. Swagger is intimidated.

    -Commercial Break-

UNDERTAKER’S DONG music hits! There’s enough time for King to grow a bear and a mustache. He shaves it then says that Brock and Taker have never fought. Thankfully, Cole and JBL save that blunder.

Before Taker can say anything, the presence of Paul Heyman on the ramp is noticed. He is noi-vus. He apologizes for interrupting, but as Taker knows, his name is Paul Heyman. He tells Taker that he preserves the greatest streak in sports and entertainment. So many people just casually throw that number, 21-0 around to the point where it almost trivializes the record. He wants to put this into historical perspective…Mr. Wrestlemania himself never won two Wrestlemania matches in a row. Triple H got to two. Hogan got to three. Stone Cold got to four. Same for John Cena. But Taker has had 21 consecutive victories. That’s when a man becomes a myth becomes a legend becomes a diety. This is why, he is here to ask The Undertaker NOT to step in the ring with Brock Lesnar. Everyone needs something to worship, and the streak and Taker is what they worship. After witnessing last year, Brock is the reality that will crash down around the fantasy of 22-0. Heyman admits to the unknown, but it’s not one Brock needs to fear – it’s one that Taker needs to fear because the streak WILL be conquered by Brock Lesnar.

Taker speaks! He wants to send a message to Brock. The fear of death is far greater than the death itself. But the fear of the unknown is the greatest fear of all. 6.5/10 on the profound graph…Taker tells Paul to tell Brock that if he shows up at Mania 30, he will Rest…In…Peace.

    -Commercial Break-

We’re back with Daniel Bryan!! He says the movement is live in Memphis, y’all! Earlier tonight, Trips and Tits came out and apologized….does anyone believe it? Nope. The Authority wants to scare him. They want to scare him into apologizing for something he should have done a long time ago; kick Triple H in the face. You can’t have it both ways, Triple H. If he wants to be corporate, cool, but if he wants to lay hands on Bryan then he is going to fight. If he expects Bryan to apoligize, Bryan’s got one word for the Hs. NO. It ends tonight, says Bryan. Tonight is when it ends. Because we’re all tired of Triple H. He isn’t listening to Bryan, to any of the people in the arena. Tonight, we’re going to make it so that you have to listen to us. Tonight, they are going to occupy RAW. Bryan isn’t leaving the ring until he gets what he wants; A match with Triple H at Wrestlemania. He knows we’ve heard this before, but tonight, he’s not leaving the ring. He’s going to fill it with the YES movement all night long if he’s got to. A bunch of people starte entering the ring with YES shirts on as we go to break.

We are back, and the ring is full, and surrounded by people YESSING their hearts out. Triple H is finally out. He gets a NO Chant for his troubles. Triple H is struggling up top. He congrats Bryan for his #OCCUPYRAW movement. He is sure all the other hippies and trolls are very happy for Bryan. This is the part where reality comes crashing down. Everyone has about thirty seconds before security is called. They all chant no. He’ll give it till thirty..Triple H calls someone a fatty then calls everyone a loser. Bryan then asks if everyone just leaves the arena? How bout they set up outside while Triple H has an arena of empty chairs. Triple H calls out security again. It’s two bald dudes….

They realize they can’t do anything and walk away. Steph gets all crazy on them. Bryan says that Steph doesn’t own anything or any of them. Sandow of all people come out. My feed went out, but apparently Bryan bad-mouthed Steph and we are back to Bryan asking for the match with Triple H. Triple H says he actually likes Bryan and actually saw something in him. He was trying to protect Bryan. The whole time, he was trying to protect Bryan. At Mania, he will not stop until Bryan is beaten. If thats’ what he wants, he’s got it. HE’S ON! Bryan’s not done…he mispoke earlier. He wants a bit more…and so does the WWE Universe….what he really wants is the WWE World Heavyweight Championship…IF He beats Triple H….he gets added to the match. He says something else that pisses Triple H off, and Triple H gives it to him! He gets it!!!

Sorry for the horrible recap, guys…..I’ll try to fix it afterwards.
