411’s WWE Smackdown Report 4.18.14

Welcome to 411’s WWE Smackdown Report 4.18.14

  • Match times are not exact.
  • Triple H is out to kick off the show, saying one of his jobs is finding the best talents from around the world, giving them a chance and watching them succeed. The Shield is on the top of that list. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns are three of the most talented guys to come along in years. So he gave them power, maybe too much. Sometimes when you have power, you try to see how far that can take you, to that line in the sand. Don’t cross the line. The Shield did, and on Monday they paid the price. We see highlights from two weeks ago on Raw and then from this week’s Raw. After the video, Triple H says that on Raw the Shield found humility, and were humbled before the feet of Evolution. He told Michael Cole Wednesday that they can move past this, he could let bygones be bygones. He offered the Shield a chance to come back on their hands and knees and to ask for forgiveness. But he got silence; accept for a message from Reigns. Reigns said that Kings do not win wars, soldiers do. Triple H says that is not reality, soldiers are the currency of which the empires are bought and sold. The Shield has lost their value, and while it pains him to destroy what he created, he will do just that. At Extreme Rules, The Shield will face Evolution. Evolution returns, to show the world what true destruction really is, to show the Shield what true power really is. You either adapt or perish, that is Evolution.
