411’s WWE Money in the Bank 2014 Report 06.29.14
Posted by Scott Slimmer on 06.29.2014

Welcome to 411's WWE Money in the Bank 2014 Report. For even more coverage, don't forget to follow me on Twitter at @ScottSlimmer.

We are LIVE in my new hometown, beautiful Boston, Massachusetts.

Instead of a Kickoff Show Match, tonight Daniel Bryan will speak out for the first time since being stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Bryan makes his way down to the ring and joins Michael Cole in the ring. Bryan receives a thunderous ovation from the crowd. Bryan says that he has some bad news. The strength hasn't come back in his arm, and his doctors are talking about possibly doing another surgery. Bryan would rather be wrestling tonight, and he'd much rather be wearing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. But he's been fighting an uphill battle ever since he started wrestling, and it wouldn't be a Daniel Bryan story if he didn't have some setbacks along the way. Bryan says his top three picks to win the title tonight are John Cena (crowd boos), Randy Orton (crowd boos), and Roman Reigns (huge pop). Bryan says that he was bothered by how smug Stephanie McMahon was when she announced that Bryan was no longer the champion, and one day someone is going to come out here and wipe that smug smile off Stephanie's face.

Suddenly, Bo Dallas's music hits, and Dallas makes his way down to the ring. He's been listening to everything that Bryan has been saying, and gosh, not being able to compete tonight must be a pain in the neck. Bryan might not be able to compete tonight, but he can still climb the ladder of life and make his way back to the top. All he has to do… is Bolieve! Bryan says he's pretty sure he speaks for everyone here when he says… Bo, leave! Bryan's music hits and he leads the crowd in a Yes! Yes! Yes! chant to close out the Kickoff Show.
