Posted by Larry Csonka on 12.07.2006

  • Remember to send your thoughts on the show for the 3R's!

    TNA Impact Begins…NOW!

-We kick off the show with highlights of last week's show.

-Rhino is in the ring, calling out AJ Styles. Rhino is now pissed off, and that is a mistake. AJ said the next time they met they would have a problem, well then come on out so we can have a problem.

-Christopher Daniels is out to try and defuse the situation. He says Rhino got in their business and tried to stop them from fighting, and he appreciates it. But now they are doing the same and Daniels doesn't want Rhino and AJ to fight. Rhino says he let AJ slide, but now he will take him out. AJ attacks from behind, Daniels tries to stop it and security floods the ring to stop them.

-After the Impact opening, Tenay and West open the show and welcome us. We see Eric Young jogging up and down the steps, training for his bikini contest.

-LAX make their way to the ring.

Petey Williams vs. Homicide w/Hernandez and Konnan

Williams attacks at the bell. Off the ropes and a RANA by Williams. Spinkick to Cide gets 2. Off the ropes and a flatliner by Cide into the turnbuckle. Butterfly bomb by Cide gets 2. Slaps by Cide, chops by Williams, off the ropes and a cutter by Cide connects, and a cover for 2. Irish whip and Williams to the apron. Sling shot lung blower on Cide. Russian leg sweep connects and Williams reels Cide in…boot, Destroyer try…countered and a Gringo killa reversed…sunset flip by Williams gets the pin.

Winner: Petey Williams @ 2:10 via pin

-LAX beat down Williams. BORDER TOSS by Hernandez and they lay the Mexican flag over him. AMW w/Gail run out and clear the ring of LAX. They take the flag and anger LAX.

-VKM with their wacky skits. War in breaking out in the motherland. BG is with people chanting DX Sucks. They want them to stop. Ok. How about you both stop!

-We get a video package for the NWA Title triple threat match between Sting, Abyss © and Cage. Good video.

-Eric Young works out more in the arena.

-We get some wackiness with Nash and the PCS. He is showing the X-Guys Rorschach ink blots. Starr only sees himself with titles, Senshi only sees warriors, Shelley sees a PS3. They make Jim Helwig jokes. Nash thinks Dutt is dirty and on the gas. Where is Petey in all this testing, that little man is unnaturally shredded. Nash and Lethal and Dutt have some good interaction, funny stuff.

-Goldylocks 2.0 is with Eric Young. He is in a work out suit and discussing his contest with Brooks.

    Eric Young vs. Senshi

Senshi attacks Eric on the floor before the bell. In the ring and he lays the boots to him. Off the ropes and a clothesline to Eric. Chops to Eric now. Rights by Eric, chops by Senshi. Rights by Eric, off the ropes and eats a kick. Cover by Senshi gets 2. More kicks by Senshi, chops follow. Rights by Eric as he fights back but knees by Senshi stop that. Spring board kick misses and Eric with more rights. Eric does the Flair corner flip and Brooks is out. She flashes Eric and distracts him. Eric likes it. Running dropkick of doom by Senshi. Warriors Way finishes it.

Winner: Senshi @ 2:43 via pin

-Goldy 2.0 is with LAX. They want their flag back, and they have the American flag. They want a flag match at the PPV. Apparently it isn't a title match.

-We have the VKM doing "Entertainment" news. They mock the Marine, and have to bleep the name. They have a fan there sleeping through the movie.

-Jim Cornette is here in the ring. He says that he approves the flag match for the PPV.

-Christian Cage and Tomko enter the arena.

-Cage says no disrespect intended, but they heard him talking and noticed that he is so busy keeping order that he has forgotten the hiring procedures here in TNA. He has done background checks for all, Tomko barely passed, but what about Abyss? If he ran one, he had done something so bad his stomach would turn. So he is here to tell him a story.

-Abyss hits the ring and lays out Tomko and Cage. Abyss eats a boot from Tomko and he lays the rights to Abyss. Cage now with rights on Abyss and Sting is here to break it up. He clears the ring with the bat. He and Abyss stare down and Sting offers Abyss his hand. Mitchell doesn't want him to do it, but he does. BLACK HOLE SLAM PREACHER MAN! Abyss isn't down with Christianity. He and Mitchell stand over Sting and hold the NWA title over him.

-We get a video package for "Serotonin." Coming soon.

-Tenay and West hype the main event.

-We join JB in the TNA Spotlight. He hypes Turning Point. Jerry Lynn will ref the X-Title match, the PCS also begins at the PPV and the VKM will be in attendance. He then runs down the card.

-We get a special video hype package for Angle vs. Joe. This was a really good video explaining why Angle gave Joe the rematch. They both underestimated each other, Joe said his reputation was stolen and he needs to get it back. Angle says he knows he could lose and get hurt. Joe almost did it last time, and could very well do it this time. Angle says this is the last match with Joe.

-Joe makes his way to the ring.

-As Rhino makes his way to the ring AJ attacks Rhino. Security is out to break that up as they brawl to the back.

-Everyone else makes their way to the ring.

Six Way All-Stars NON-TITLE Match: Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle vs. Sting vs. Abyss © w/James Mitchell vs. Christian Cage w/Tomko vs. Rhino

Angle and Cage to begin. Lock up and a headlock by Angle. Off the ropes and a shoulder block to Cage. Toss by Angle, uppercuts by Angle and then another toss and cover for 2. Angle snags a bear hug, Cage escapes but an overhead belly to belly by Angle. Rear neck vice by Angle now, Cage wants a tag and we head to a commercial @ 1:49.

Back from commercial @ 5:10 with Angle still working over Cage. Added to Turning Point is AJ vs. Rhino and VKM will have another stupid skit. Abyss in now with Angle, Cage nails Angle and Abyss gets the SHOCK TREATMENT for 2 as Joe makes the save. They brawl and a snap powerslam by Joe on Abyss. Cage in and the Inverted DDT by Cage. Scorpion death drop on Cage. He tosses Abyss. They go to the floor and brawl. Joe and Cage battle, Enziguri to Cage who was up top. Muscle buster stopped by Tomko, Cage covers for 2 as Angle makes the save. Angle and Joe in, Angle checks on Joe…ANGLE SLAM on Joe! 1…2…3.

Winner: Kurt Angle @ 7:29 via pin

-Angle celebrates and walks out, staring down Joe.

-Recap video runs, hyping the PPV.
