411's ECW on Sci-Fi Report 12.16.06
Posted by Michael Bauer on 12.16.2006

The opening video starts two weeks ago with Lashley wining the title in the Extreme Elimination Chamber. It follows to Paul Heyman's promo taped right afterwards, that was shown last week. We then see the highlights from last week's rematch between Lashley and The Big Show, complete with Big Show's interview prior to the match playing in the background. The reshow the body slam heard around the world, still unbelievable to see. The entrance video doesn't have Paul Heyman's trademark saying in it anymore.

Joey Styles and Tazz hype up Lashley vs. Paul Heyman's Personal Enforcers (as they are called) for the main event.

Test vs. Rob Van Dam

Styles claims the match is for payback with Test eliminating RVD from the chamber and they show highlights from how he did it. The bell sounds and Test powers RVD into the corner, and nails RVD with an elbow to the head and stomps down on RVD. Test backs off and RVD reverses. Test catches RVD with a quick back elbow. Off the ropes and Test runs into a boot. Standing Moonsault for 2. Test bails to the outside and RVD launches himself over the top rope and onto Test. RVD hits spinning legdrop for 2. Thumb to the eye by Test. Test throws RVD shoulder first into the ring post. RVD down in the corner and Test chokes RVD with his boot and now again using the middle rope. Irish whip by Test and RVD runs into a clothesline for 2. Into the corner, RVD goes up and over and onto the top rope, but Test throws him down to the floor as he we head into a commercial break at 3:37.

Back form the break and RVD is caught in a version of an armbar. RVD fights out, but Test catches him with a bodyslam. Test heads up top, but RVD counters with a boot to the face. Both men are down and are up at 7. RVD nails Test with a kick to the face and then springboards to hit another kick. RVD off the ropes and he catches him with a spinning kick. A crescent kick gets a 2 count. Test in the corner, RVD goes for the monkey flip, but Test nails a clothesline for 2. Test has RVD for the pumphandle, but RVD counters and gets drilled with an elbow. RVD catches Test on the top rope and connects with a karate kick off the top. Rolling Thunder by RVD only gets 2. Windmill kick from RVD and he goes Froggy, but Test is able to avoid it. Test goes for a powerbomb, but RVD counters into a sunset flip, but Test sits down and is holding onto the ropes. The ref counts the three at right around the 10 minute mark. Test pulls off the win and RVD simply can't believe it.

Winner: Test

Tazz and Styles hype up Punk vs. Holly and the main event of Lashley vs. Paul Heyman's Personal Enforcers before the commercial break.

Back from the commercial break, and we have Matt Striker doing in-ring classroom segment. The crowd instantly is all over him. He calls Boston the home of democracy, saying it's the child of it and that it should be aborted. Oh, this is getting pitiful when he mentions Bill Buckner and Boston loving its balls. He then calls out Ball Mahoney, who beat Matt Striker at December to Dismember. Striker says he here to talk, calling Balls all heat and soul and a hero to the people. He then goes on insulting everything about Ball Mahoney. Balls had enough and clotheslines Striker. The punches come and Striker kicks a field goal. "What's the matter, feeling a little blue… Balls?" Sorry, but that line might be a little too corny, but in terms of Striker's promos, this is a classic.

Tazz and Styles hype up Punk vs. Holly again as the match is next.

Raw on Monday with a 30 man Battle Royal and the winner gets a title shot that night on a 3 hour special.

We come back with a promo interview for Elijah Burke and Sylvester Turkay. It's nothing but Burke talking, but it's pretty darn good. How can Turkay be tough with his first name though? It's almost like Irwin.

CM Punk vs. Hardcore Holly

Tazz mentions that Punk is still undefeated, but that Holly is his stiffest challenge yet and that both men are very disciplined. Holly starts out with a headlock, but Punk whips him off the ropes. Punk connect with some dropkicks and back elbows. Back kick by Punk gets a 1 count. Suplex by Punk gets a 2 count. Holly catches Punk and hangs him on the top rope. Holly with a wicked chop on Punk in the corner. Holy with another one as he has Punk sort of caught in the ropes. Holly puts Punk on the ground and drops the knee for a 2 count. Holly sends Punk into the turnbuckle and whips, but reversed and Holly caught him with a boot. Punk reverses Holly and catches a swinging neckbreaker. Both men down and Punk is up at 5. Punk starts landing some kicks and nails Holly with a forearm. Punk gets Holly down for another 2 count. Punk gets some knees and throws Holly into the turnbuckle for the running knee. Punk lands a bulldog for a 2 count. Punk unloads with forearms in the corner. He backs off at 4 and Holly reverses, landing a chop and then punches away. He goes back at it and doesn't break before the 5 count and gets DQed for his actions at 4:50. Holly rushes Punk, but Punk moves. Punk locks on the Anaconda Vice and Holly taps out.

Winner: CM Punk by DQ

Another hype for the main event before the commercial break.

Daivari vs. Tommy Dreamer

We are back from the break and Tommy Dreamer comes out. They show highlights from Khali destroying Dreamer at the December to Dismember Pay Per View and then last week's ECW on Sci-Fi. Dreamer has the microphone and actually challenges the Great Khali, calling it not the smartest move. They come out, but Daivari speaks his stuff we can't understand and answers the challenge instead. Daivari hits Dreamer with the microphone and starts choking Dreamer as the bell rings. Daivari gets thrown off the corner as he goes for punches and then gets caught with a bodyslam. Khali hits Dreamer, but Dreamer counters Daivari into a DDT for the 3 count after a 58 second match. Khali drags Dreamer to the floor and two hand chokeslams him after the match. Tazz calls it nothing more than a setup. I agree as that match was a setup for us to think it would be anything different than we have seen.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer

Up next, the main event: Bobby Lashley vs. Paul Heyman's Personal Enforcers.

Back from the break and they show Mike Knox faking his apology to Kelly from last week. It truly was a sickening vision as Tazz calls it disgusting. Tazz calls him a rotten S.O.B and mention the Kelly suffered whiplash.

Bobby Lashley vs. Heyman's Security

The security team actually comes out in the full gear, but are forced to give up the nightsticks. Lahsley starts by beating the heck out of one guy. He irish wips him, but gets pulled out and Lashley avoids it and then clotheslines both of him. Lashley hits the dealyed vertical suplex for 2 as it is broken up. Lashley has the 2nd one up and press slams him onto the first. He has one of them and the charge into the corner is avoided, as the other hits Lashley in the knee with the night stick. Both men now take turns beating down Lashley, as nobody knows which one is in right now. Lashley is down and both men are in. Irish whip into the corner, but the human javelin is avoided. Lashley hits 2 cloheslines in the corner. Both men get bodyslammed and Lashley connects with a spear. The nightstick is in, but Lashley avoids it and hits the Dominator for the 3 count at 3:50.

The second goon has a nightstick, but he gets speared and hits the Dominator on him as well. Now Lashley has the nightstick and he starts laying waste to both men with the it. Both enforcers are left laying and the "goon squad" look to be done.

Winner: Bobby Lashley
