The final hype for the all cage match PPV!
The Road to Lockdown~!
We open up with the traditionally well-done Sahadi video. JB and Christy Hemme welcome us to the show. They run down the card:
The Card~!
-Lethal Lockdown Match: TEAM CAGE (Christian Cage, Scott Steiner, Tomko, Abyss, & AJ Styles) vs. TEAM ANGLE (Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, & Rhino)
-Cage Match w/ Special Ref Bob Backlund: Austin Starr vs. Senshi
-Cage Match: Robert Roode vs. Petey Williams
-Prince of Darkness Blindfold Match: Chris Harris vs. James Storm
-Catfight in the Cage: Gail Kim vs. Jackie Moore
PRESHOW Cage Match: Voodoo Kin Mafia vs. Christy Hemme's Mystery Team NEW INFO: The Team will be a TNA team that is already there, due to the Missouri State Athletic Rules that require blood tests. TNA wouldn't have time to get new blood work done for the new team they planned to use, so now it will come from in the company, since they already have a blood work policy for all talent.
We move to video hype for the LAX vs. Team 3D Electrified Cage match, which is for the NWA Tag Team Titles. Video stuff from the whole feud, including Runt getting tazered from this week's Impact.
Back from commercial and Hemme and JB hype the Lethal Lockdown match. We now go to a video package on last year's Lethal Lockdown match. We join the match as they do the super tower of doom spot with AJ looking like he died. Steiner then hits the ring and starts throwing bitches around with suplexes.
After a commercial break, we come back to the match from last year as Sting makes his entrance into the match. Sting runs wild on the heels and then the roof lowers with all of the weapons. He stacks the heels in the corner and gets a 4-man Stinger splash. We see the faces run wild with the weapon shots, and then James Storm escape to the top of the cage. AJ follows and they battle. They set up a table and then a ladder, and AJ drops off of that with a splash on Storm though the table. That was a scary spot, because of the ladder wanting to teeter off. Pretty cool visual still. Sting eventually makes Harris tap to the scorpion deathlock for the win in that match.
Back from commercial and they run down this year's Lethal Lockdown match. They completely forget to mention that the winner of the match gets the next title shot. The video package is good stuff though.
They remind us to buy the show and run down the card one last time.
We get the closing video deal from Impact.
