The path to Victory Road is completed!

Welcome to TNA Impact!! I am Michael Bauer, filling in for Larry tonight and am ready for some action, so let's get right to it.

We open with highlights from last week's classic Heavyweight Title match before the opening video.

Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside as they hype tonight's Tag Team title match to see who moves on to Victory Road. Also tonight, we get Sting making a surprise and Angle's appreciation night.

We then get a video montage of all three teams talking up the main event. Homicide was the mouthpiece for his team and he was impressive.

TNA Tag Team Title Match: Team 3D vs. LAX (Homicide y Hernandez) vs. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels

First out was the team of Daniels and Styles. So weird how they were champs when they were the biggest favorites in TNA and now here they are again as the two cockiest guys in TNA. Tenay brings up that LAX defeated Styles and Daniels twice to become tag team champions. Don West hypes up all three teams as well. The bell rings and the brawling starts with Daniels and Styles going after Devon and LAX going after Ray, both using great team work, until Brother Ray dodges a corner charge and clotheslines Homicide. Daniels kicks him in the head and Devon gets the advantage until he runs into Hernandez. AJ Styles comes off the top rope with a flying forearm and now LAX battles Daniels and Styles. Styles goes to the outside, Homicide runs to the ropes, but Daniels catches him with a heel kick. Daniels lifted into the Border Toss, but Styles catches him. Daniels turns into a clothesline from Brother Ray. Double team by Team 3D only nets a two count on Hernandez and we go to commercial at 3:31.

We are back at 5:53 as order is restored and Devon is working the nerves of Hernandez. Hernandez gets control and tags in Homicide. Homicide runs into some right hands and Brother Ray gets tagged in and misses his senton bomb from the second rope. Homicide suplexes Ray and tags in Daniels. Daniels and Homicide hit a high low and Homicide is back in, working the neck of Ray. Brother Ray to his feet, sort of, as Homicide leap frogs Ray and dropkicks the back of Ray. Hernandez tagged in and he slams Ray. Hernandez tags in Homicide, who goats Devon to get the two on one advantage. Hernandez chokes out Ray with his shirt and Homicide using the boots. Ray whipped to the corner and Homicide connects with a splash and Hernandez does as well for a two count as Daniels breaks it up. Senton bomb by Homicide only gets a two count. Hernandez is in control as we go to another break at 10:01.

We are back again at 13:08 and Brother Ray got control on Hernandez, but Daniels took it away after a blind tag. Daniels punches away at Ray, but Ray gets some open hand chops, but he gets floored with a huge right hand. Chokehold by Daniels, but Ray spins him around into a full nelson bomb! Ray reaches and finally tags in Devon and he throws right hands at everyone in sight. Lou Thesz Press connects on Hernandez. AJ Styles charges in, but Devon ducks and Styles flies to the outside. Through it all, Homicide is left in there with Team 3D and he runs into a scoop slam from Ray and the flying headbutt by Devon. They call for the tables, but Hernandez and Daniels come into the ring. Hernandez gets dumped and Daniels goes for punches to Devon. Ray sneaks behind him and they hit the Doomsday Device for a two count. AJ Styles with a springboard dropkick tags out both members of Team 3D. Homicide tries the Gringo Killer, but Styles slips out and Daniels hits a one arm slam as Styles goes up top and hits a frog splash for two. Daniels gets cleared and Styles gets caught with the Border Toss! Daniels pulls out the ref to save the match. Hernandez sees Devon fights Daniels and Styles and runs off the ropes… Suicide Dive over the top rope! Brother Ray dives off the top turnbuckle and takes out LAX and Styles. Daniels and Devon are in the ring now. Hurricarana by Daniels and the one arm slam. Daniels tries Angel's Wings, but Devon backdrops out of it. Ray in now and 3D! Devon goes for the cover and gets the pin to retain the titles at 19:28.

Winners: Team 3D

Backstage, they talk up what happened between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar when they see Lance Hoyt and Christy getting it hot and heavy. Lance then goes off on VKM, telling them that he played them from the very start.

Samoa Joe comes out and congratulates Team 3D on being the next victims. Joe calls Angle a puppet, who has his strings pulled by Joe. Joe says that he will have all the gold except for one title after Victory Road and that Angle will eventually be broken. Yet for now, Joe needs Angle as a part of his game. Joe walks off as we go to a break.

WE are back and Jim Cornette is at ringside now as they announce that Christian Cage will face Chris Harris at Victory Road, likewise, as Rhino will face James Storm. Cornette says that we will have an announcement next week about an Ultimate X match at Victory Road.

Christian Cage comes out with his megaphone, calling it a symbol of power. Christian comes out to tell him his produces the ratings and the superstars he produced and beat. Christian wonders who the hell Chris Harris and he will be a superstar just be breathing the same air as "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage. Cornette gets a mic and calls Harris the guy who will break the glass ceiling and will use Cage as a battering ram. Cage then fights off the idea of Abyss looking for him. But as soon as the music of Abyss starts, Cage bails.

Mike Tenay then had a sit-down with Rhino earlier in the day. Rhino says his father's drinking as a vice that led him to his drinking to deal with every problem in his life. This comes with a video montage of his highlights. Rhino says his drinking was his addiction and he doesn't want to go through it again, but James Storm made him go through it again when he spit beer in his face. Okay, I get it. His recent behavior and destroying the Impact Zone was due to being spit on.

Gail Kim vs. Jackie Moore vs. Ms. Brooks

So, why exactly to we need Ms. Brooks in this match? Jackie vs. Gail Kim is plenty, but then again, Gail's issue if with Brooks now. Anyway, the bell rings and Jackie goes right after Gail Kim and Brooks joins in, but they want Gail for themselves and fight each other. Jackie whips Brooks and elbows her chest for a two count. Gail drives down Jackie and Brooks up the count. Whip by Gail Kim, but Brooks sees the duck down knees Gail in the face. Gail rolls to the outside and drags Brooks out with her. Jackie dives to the outside, taking out Brooks and Gail Kim comes off the top rope with a huge dive. All three ladies are down as we go to another break at 1:46.

We are back at 5:28 as Brooks and Jackie have Gail Kim in a double single leg crab. Jackie had enough and let go, kicking Brooks in the back of the head. Jackie puts Brooks on the top rope and gets shoved off by Brooks. Gail Kim up there now, but she gets pushed off and slips down herself. Jackie hits a huge release German Suplex but runs into a clothesline from Brooks. All three down and Gail Kim gets up and goes to work on both ladies. Gail Kim with a headscissors takes out Brooks. Gail Kim gets rolled up, but rolls through and covers Jackie for the three count at 6:32.

Winner: Gail Kim

Jackie attacks Gail Kim after the bell and Eric Young comes out for the save. Jackie jumps on Young and he flips her over, but Roode comes from the back and takes out Young.

We head to the basement where JB is brought by Sting and they talk about Chris (aka Abyss). Sting still feels that Chris is hiding behind his mask, like Sting does behind the paint. Sting says that Chris has something to say next week. JB wonders what Sting means, but then we turn to see Abyss is Sting paint??? He screams like Abyss and we cut to a commercial.

We are back and here comes Kurt Angle, in a suit and with BOTH titles in hand. He has the TNA World Title and the IWGP Title he won in Japan over the weekend. Mike Tenay and Don West put the title from Japan over big and they have a script, written and produced by Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle calls TNA: Total Nonstop Angle and says he made TNA what it is today. DON WEST SHUT UP!!! Kurt Angle then says Team 3D will have the chance to tell their kids that they will be in the ring with greatness. Team 3D comes out "Blah, Blah, Blahing" Angle all the way to the ring. Brother Ray says Angle has a lot of balls saying what he does. MIKE TENAY SHUT UP!!! Brother Ray says TNA is about action, not Kurt Angle. Brother Ray says the whole locker room is responsible for the ratings spike, but mostly because of the fans. Angle says the fans dreams go through him and insults Ray's weight and simply says he sucks. Ray's comeback: "If I suck, then you blow." Angle tries to deck Ray, but Ray blocks and knocks him down. And here come the tables! But here comes Samoa Joe and he takes out Team 3D with clotheslines and Samoan Drops. Kurt Angle snakes up from behind and Angle Slams Samoa Joe through the table! Mike Tenay says his ego went to his head when he did that.

We close with the highlight video. Larry will be back at the helm next week.
