We get another Rey Mysterio video package.

We get our main event interview as Edge comes down for the Cutting Edge. Edge isn’t pleased with all the “Edge Sucks” signs. He welcomes everybody to the Cutting Edge though. Edge says he would talk about his guest, but since he doesn’t know who he is, he can’t talk about him. So being the Rated R Superstar, he is not going to dodge the tough questions so he demands his guest to come out and it is….Kane. Edge says he wasn’t expecting Kane but “it’s all good”. He mentions it is 2007, and in October, it will be a decade of dominance for Kane. He mentions Kane has beaten everybody, and all the numerous titles, all the Inferno Matches. He then talks about See No Evil. Edge then says that the Decade of Dominance doesn’t sound as good as the Rated R Era. And being a one time WWE Champion, doesn’t sounds as impressive as being a three time world champ, King of the Ring, and all of Edge’s other championships. He tries to end the show but Kane stops him. Kane tells Edge he doesn’t like him and then throws him around. Edge then gets on the mic and tells Kane he will never be a guest on the Cutting Edge again….or ever be in the same ring as him. Teddy Long comes out and tells Edge though that at the Great American Bash, Edge will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Kane!

After thoughts: The first hour was great, but after Finlay and Flair the show sunk. Can’t wait till Mysterio gets back so Edge has some good competition. For the Smackdown Wrestler of the Year Competition, Matt Hardy gains some points towards Batista, Deuce jumps to #3, and The Major Brothers, Eugene, and Chuck Paulmbo all debuted on the list. Finlay gets the jump of the week for bouncing back into the top ten. I will not name a Fall of the Week since there was no big fall by an active Smackdown Wrestler.
