411's ECW on Sci-Fi Report 5.13.08

Colin signed his ECW contract, but so did Armando Estrada! And unlike Colin, he won his first offical match.

Welcome to the ECW on Sci-Fi! As always, I am Michael Bauer, your 411 ECW Re-capper.

We open with highlights of Colin Delaney earning his contract last week. Very nice video package. Backstage, Estrada tells Colin how lucky he was and that he will be a bigger target than before. Estrada hands Colin the contract and he signs it quickly. Estrada then books Colin against Mike Knox for his first match as an official member of the ECW roster.

Cut to the opening video… and we go to Mike Adamle and Tazz at ringside.

CM Punk vs. The Miz

Miz comes out with John Morrison for this littlie preview for this Sunday's Pay Per View. Miz tells Morrison to go to the back as he wants Punk alone. The bell rings and the lock up leads to a go behind by Punk. Punk lifts Miz by the waist and grounds him. Back up and Punk brings him down again. Miz to the ropes, but Punk ducks the cheap shot. Punk throws Miz to the corner, Miz gets the foot up, but Punk catches it. Miz kicks Punk in the face with the other boot and goes to work with right hands as Punk is on the mat. Punk gets up and out of a chinlock with some lethal kicks. Miz dodges one and dropkicks Punk onto the second rope. Miz bounces off Punk's back and hangs him on the rope for a two count. Miz goes back to the chinlock and Punk escapes until he gets clubbed in the back. Punk thrown into the corner and Miz connects with his clothesline splash for a two count. Miz with a chinlock and some crossfaces. Punk to his feet, but he gets shoulder blocked and kicks out at one. Punk hits a snap bodyslam out of nowhere for two. Punk goes back to work with the feet and throws Miz in the corner. High knee connects, but Miz shoves off the bulldog. Punk connects with the high leg lariat and gets a two count. Punk tries to get a double underhook, but Miz jackknifes into a pin attempt for two. Punk bridges up and tries for the Go2Sleep, but Miz slips out and hits the Reality Check for the three count at 5:43.

Winner: The Miz

Backstage, we see Cherry, Michelle, and Kelly warming up and heading to the ring.

Cherry, Michelle McCool, and Kelly vs. Layla, Victoria, and Natalya

Well, this looks like a mismatch. Natalya starts with Michelle and Michelle hits a back elbow to escape a go behind. Michelle backed into a corner and Natalya gets an arm wrench, before tagging Victoria. Michelle climbs the turnbuckle and flips her way out of the arm wrench, getting a two count. Cherry tagged in and she kicks and punches away. Victoria slips under the ropes and Natalya hits a hard clothesline. Cherry locked in a sleeper, but she arm drags out. Victoria tries to come in, so Layla does the double team instead. Victoria tagged in and springs in with a somersault legdrop for two. Victoria with a body slam and she sets for the standing moonsault, but Cherry gets the knees up. Victoria stops Cherry from getting the tag with an elbow to the back. Victoria knocks Kelly and Michelle off the ropes and Cherry rolls up Victoria for the three count with a school girl at 3:53.

Winners: Cherry, Michelle McCool, and Kelly

Lena Yada is backstage with Shelton. Shelton says Kofi is the luckiest man alive for beating him twice. He says he will end that wining streak next time they meet. Kofi says good luck to that. Shelton shoves him so Kofi spears Shelton into the steel door and walks off.

Back from the break, we go to Mike Adamle and Tazz and Mike asks about his thoughts on the ending to Raw, which leads us to a video package for Randy Orton vs. HHH.

We head back to see Colin Delaney getting ready and get another video package of Colin getting killed week in and week out, which is his journey.

Colin Delaney vs. Mike Knox

Holy crap! Colin has entrance music! Colin weighs in at 167 pounds, no wonder he always got killed, he weighs less than the ladies. The bell rings and Knox kicks Colin upside the head twice. Knox hits a huge short arm clothesline and shoves the kid in the corner. Knox hits a huge splash and clubs Colin with forearms to the back of the head. Knox connects with the Knox-Out and ends it in 58 seconds.

Winner: Mike Knox

Armando Estrada comes out in his ring gear and says that he is the GM of ECW and he signed himself as an active wrestler with a lucrative contract. And his first match is against Colin and it is right now!

Colin Delaney vs. Armando Estrada

Estrada slaps around Colin and hits an inverted suplex to get a three count in about 15 seconds. Colin's nose looks broken.

Winner: Armando Estrada

We see Kane backstage looking like himself as his match is next.

Next week, Shelton Benjamin gets his third shot against Kofi Kingston.

Kane vs. John Morrison

Morrison comes out with The Miz, but doesn't send him to the back like Miz did earlier. Kane never needs backup though. The bell rings and Morrison plays some duck and chase before trying to kick the legs of Kane. Kane throws Morrison in the corner and then drops him down to the mat by his hair. Kane hits a huge low dropkick for a two count. Kane lifts up John by his neck and just hangs him over his shoulder. Miz looks on as Kane chokes John on the second rope. Kane hits a back elbow for a two count. Kane locks in a rear chinlock and Morrison gets to his feet. John kicks Kane in the head and works over the left leg as he backs Kane into the corner. Kane hits John in the throat to fight out. Kane whips Morrison into the corner but walks into an elbow. Morrison avoids another charge into the corner. Miz distracts Kane by grabbing his leg and CM Punk comes out to even the odds as Kane connects with a huge right hand to Morrison's jaw. The two teams stare down as we go to a break at 3:40.

We are back from the break at 7:55 and Kane hits a huge suplex on Morrison. Kane covers and gets two. Kane chokes Morrison with his knee and pounds away. Kane with a swinging neckbreaker for two. Chinlock again locked in by Kane and he elbows John in the head. Morrison again going after the left leg, but Kane again fights him off. Morrison hits a dropkick to back Kane into the corner. Morrison pounds away but Kane shoves him off. Morrison hits a chop block and drops a leg on Kane's knee and locks the leg. Kane fights Morrison off, but walks into a dropkick to the knee. Morrison covers and gets two. Morrison keeps kicking the leg and wraps it one the ring post. Back in the ring, Morrison keeps working the leg, ducking Kane's uppercuts. Morrison drops a knee into Kane's knee to bring him down. Morrison now with a boot to the face and mounts with punches, but Kane rolls through. Morrison again kicks away at the knee and locks in a standing leg lock. Kane fights out again with right hands and gets to his feet. Huge uppercuts connect from Kane and he clotheslines Morrison in the corner twice. Side slam connects by Kane for a two count. Kane tries to go to the top rope and he hits the big clothesline. Kane signals for a chokeslam, so Miz gets on the ring apron. Punk comes over to get him down and gets thrown into the steel steps. The ref has his back turned and Morrison grabs a Tag Team Title belt and hits Kane upside the head with it to get the three count at around 15:00.

Winner: John Morrison

After the bell, Miz enters the ring and they double team Kane until CM Punk breaks it up and gets double teamed himself. The champs leave with the belts held high as we end the program.
