Wacky TNA Larry Title of the Week: The two-hour bloodbath. Hey, they didn’t give me a title, sometimes you have to improvise.
TNA Impact Begins…NOW!
-Tenay is in the ring to hype Hard Justice, which is this Sunday. He then shoots to JB in the crowd, and he then hypes the PPV. BG and Lauren then hype the crowd as he explains the 8-man gauntlet match, with WEAPONS!
Knockout's Bimbo Brawl: Roxxi vs. The Pride of Tennessee Miss Jackie Moore – Traci Brooks is the Special Referee
Roxxi has the grocery cart of fun with her. She slides weapons in and Moore tosses them right out. Moore attacks as she enters the ring, rights to Roxxi and then a neck breaker for 2. Moore charges and gets tossed to the floor. Roxxi follows, slams Moore off of the apron and then whips her into the steps. Roxxi gets a chair and slides it in the ring, as well as a cookie tray. Back in the ring they go and Roxxi covers right away for 2. To the corner they go, and Irish whip and Moore gets a drop toehold into the chair. She'll cover for 2. Moore grabs two cookie trays, nails Roxxi with them several times. Double shot with them and she celebrates. Moore covers for 2. Off the ropes, counter and Roxxi gets a side slam onto the trashcan lid for 2. Knees by Moore, TBONE SUPLEX follows! Moore gets a chair, but Roxxi gets a Yakuza to the chair, sending it into Moore's face. VOODOO CRUSHER and that is all.
Winner: Roxxi @ 4:25 via pin
It was fun while it lasted. I wish it would have went longer because they were having a really good match. They really need to have Jackie wrestle more.
RATING: *¾
-Lauren is with Cage and Rhino. She asks about the match tonight, and Cage says he knows all about the glass table. He's the champ, that's what he does. He hasn't forgotten the hours in the hospital after going through the glass table. He says they are impressive, and they are only the greatest tag team because he went singles. He knows that they want to take Cage and Rhino out before they become the best. It's like this, tonight they have another chance to end them. Do him a favor, let him know how it works out for them. Rhino says if they want to end them and make them bleed, well, he and Cage are in. Ask yourselves what will you do when he tears you in half with the GORE through a glass table. What will you do then?
-We are back from commercial and JB is with Val. Super Eric is here and says he solved the case. He says Dutt stole it and if she finds him she'll find the ring.
Curry Man vs. Sonjay Dutt
Dutt tries a boot, fails but then takes Curry Man down and walks on his back. Curry Man returns the favor, hip toss and a slam by Curry Man. Curry Man does the robot, plays dead a she stands there and then gets an arm drag. Dutt begs off, slams Curry Man to the corner and Val comes out to ringside. She yells at Dutt, who gets a back breaker on Curry Man. He denies it, misses a charge to the corner and this allows Curry Man to get the ass charge. Dutt rakes the eyes and gets a bulldog to the corner. 619 by Dutt and then gets the cover with the ropes and wins.
Winner: Sonjay Dutt @ 2:25 via pin
A couple minutes of action to get to the angle that no one cares about.
RATING: BLAH
-After the match he low blows Curry Man and leaves Val in the ring. Sharky is out and beats down Dutt. He tosses him back in the ring but takes a stun gun off the ropes. Super Eric is out and press slams Dutt. He finds the ring in the tights of Dutt and returns it to Val. Dutt says this is a misunderstanding, and says Val dropped the ring in the hospital. He had it under his pillow every night, he thought she left it for him. She wants to leave Jay for him. Apparently it was wishful thinking on his part, but he cares about her. He's happy she got the ring back and they hug.
-Lauren is with Ray, Devon and Beer Money. She asks what happened to an old fashioned wrestling match and he says it is boring, like sleeping with her. Ray promises that they will win tonight. They are the greatest tag team and Beer Money is the future. They will beat the dog crap out of LAX, Cage and Rhino. They fight, brawl and beat people up. They drink, fight and fuck. Rhino has an "X" on his back and he will go through a glass table tonight. Storm says they beat people up and the others get beat up. They are the future champions and they promise to hurt their opponents, sorry about your damn luck.
-We get a video package for Sheik Abdul Bashir. He talks about our selfish need for oil. America sucks.
The Motor City Machineguns (Sabin and Shelley) vs. Consequences Creed and Jay Lethal
Shelley and Jay to begin. A boot by Shelley, snap mare and a series of counters to begin. Pendulum by Shelley, Jay escapes and gets a roll up for 2. More counters and a crucifix by Shelley for 2. They stand off, shake and tag in Creed and Sabin. Lock up, trip by Sabin and after some counters a tilt a whirl head scissors by Sabin. To the corner and rights by Creed, Sabin sidesteps and gets a clothesline in the corner. Off the ropes and a clothesline by Creed gets 2. Jay tags in, duel jabs to Sabin and Sabin is down. Elbows by Jay, but Sabin gets an octopus hold. Jay manages to get the ropes, chops by Sabin and then off the ropes and an arm drag by Sabin. Tag to Shelley, off the ropes and Sabin in and tosses Jay to the floor. Dropkick to Creed and a PLANCHA by Shelley onto Jay. He tosses him back in and Sabin covers for 2. Rights to Jay, to the corner and a tag to Shelley. Drop toehold and elbow drop double team by the Guns, surfboard and then a bulldog by Sabin for 2. Chops by Shelley, rights by Jay and Shelley tackles him to the mat. Sabin in and an Enzuguri and then a dropkick as the Guns control. Sabin covers for 2. Sabin chokes out Jay, to the corner as Shelley tags in and a whip Sabin, misses and Jay dumps Shelley, leg lariat to Sabin and TAGS in Creed! Back elbows by Creed, uppercuts and then Shelley stun guns him off the ropes. Slingshots in, Creed catches him and gets a TKO for 2. Jawbreaker by Shelley, Sabin has Creed over his knees and Shelley gets a head butt off the top and a cover for 2. Jay in and distracts them, Creed with a cross body to both of the Guns and covers for 2. Suicide dive by Jay. Creed-DT countered by Shelley, sliced bread countered and Creed rolls him up for the win!
Winners: Lethal and Creed @ 8:30 via pin
A damn fine tag team match there. Creed winning is great for his push, but the Guns look to be derailed yet again. With Shelley's actions, a heel turn could be in the works and hopefully NOT a split of the team.
RATING: **½
-After the match they all shake with Jay, but Shelley refuses to shake with Creed and leaves pissed off.
Karen's Angle
Frank Trigg is her guest. He mentions that she is cheating on Kurt. They play nice, and Trigg discusses starting in MMA, and he has a supportive wife who never wanted to be on TV. He has known Kurt before she did. Trigg says Kurt is great, but maybe he changed since she banged AJ. She gets flustered and wants to end the interview. She slaps him and Trigg breaks the Phi Delta Slam guy's nose as he tried to stop it and it ends. DRAMA. Or not.
-JB is with Angle. He says that he is a wrestler, and he is the best ever. AJ wanted to turn this into a last man standing match after all he put Angle through. He won't be responsible to what he does. He made AJ and AJ slept with his wife in return. He will come at AJ like he never has before. He is a gold medallist, AJ spit in his face, which is like spitting in the face of the troops defending out country. THE PAIN GAME STARTS TONIGHT!
-The Beautiful People harass Lauren and threaten to bag her. They dismiss her and say that they are beauty and the beast. This is QUEEN KONG and at Hard Justice, they will have to call the military to stop the carnage. Kong is an animal that loves Chinese, White Bread and obnoxious BEOTCHES. They promise to make victims out of Kim, ODB and Taylor.
NO DQ MATCH: Christian Cage, Rhino, Homicide and Hernandez vs. Brother Ray, Brother Devon, James Storm and Robert Roode
James Storm and the rest of the heels joke about the release of Chris Harris, and we're underway. The good guys hit the ring and we brawl. GORE on Devon! One for Roode! GORE for Ray! Turns Storm inside out with one! TOPE CON HILO by Homicide! Cross body to the floor by Cage. SWEET DIVE by Hernandez! We head to a commercial @ 1:30.
Back from commercial @ 4:00 as they are all brawling around the ring. Beer Money dominate Cide in the ring now. Hernandez in with the double clothesline, but Ray takes him down. Irish whip and a corner splash by Ray. Charges, eats a boot, Hernandez to the top and chops by Ray. Ray up top with him and gets the superplex. Cage is in and delivers chops to Ray, off the ropes and takes a HUGE backdrop. Cide back in and low blows Ray on the top, Cage over and a RANA to Ray off the top. Top Rope elbow by Cide! Roode pulls Cage to the floor, curtain call by Devon, Rhino in and so is Roode. Double suplex. BEER! MONEY! Ray slams Hernandez down, Devon up top and the WAZZUP HEAD BUTT is stopped by Rhino. Spinebuster by Hernandez to Ray, Border toss stopped by a last call from Storm. Cage spits beer into Storm's face, GRINGO CUTTER by Cide and that is all.
Winners: LAX, Cage and Rhino @ 7:05 via
That was tons of fun, but too short as we lost over 2-minutes on the commercial. Beer Money gets revenge heading into the PPV, and it sucks to be Homicide.
RATING: **¼
-After the match Devine brings Ray a kendo stick and he wipes out the good guys. 3D on Hernandez! Beer Money hits the DUI (Powerbomb/neck breaker combo) on Cage! Devon and Devine bring out the glass table, set it up and this allows Beer Money to DOUBLE POWERBOMB Cide through the table! 3D does NOT look happy, since they wanted to take out Rhino. Cide has a cut on his arm from the bump.
-We get a Rough Cuts segment on Taylor Wilde. We get some Indy footage of her as she discusses being the underdog. The other Knockouts say that she has to step up and prove that she deserves her spot. Bill DeMott is on again, voice only, putting her over. Wilde wants to prove that she is no fluke.
-Homicide has been taken to a local hospital. Glass tables will do that.
Awesome Kong w/Riesha Saeed and The Beautiful People vs. Salinas
Oh lord why do we have to see Salinas in the ring? Salinas wears some sweet short shorts this evening. Kong knocks her down, KONG BOMB and that is all.
Winner: Awesome Kong @ 0:30 via pin
-The Beautiful People mock Salinas after her loss. Love then says that Taylor, ODB and Gail should take a good look at this. This is a preview of what will happen to them at Hard Justice. Love commands Kong to KEEP KILLING! IMPLANT BUSTER on Salinas. Damn. Love says they didn't make their point. Sky gets a chair now and lays it down. Kong grabs Salinas, but before she can use it Gail, Wilde and ODB are out and they al brawl. Wilde escapes the Kong Bomb, gets dropkicks to Kong and then up top…and is killed by a clothesline. Kong goes for the bomb on the chair, but Abyss is out to make the save. Kong and Abyss face off, and Saeed backs Kong off. I got $50 on Kong. Saeed bitches at Abyss and then slaps him. Abyss grabs the chair, Saeed runs and Security is out to take the chair. BLACK HOLE SLAM FOR YOU MY FRIEND!
Who the hell asked for Starship Troopers III?
-JB is with Booker and Sharmell in the PIMP locker room. They talk about the main event as well as the PPV Sunday. JB asks if Booker will be the champion next week. He tells Jeremiah that Joe can't beat me, he told us all that. He also proved it at Victory Road. Joe punished him a lot, but he didn't beat Booker. He sits here as THE TNA World Champion. And tonight, gauntlet match, they will pick up where they left off and he will one up Joe tonight. He came to TNA to prove that he is the best. JB asks about Sting, and Booker says Sting wouldn't miss it for anything. The real batman will show up tonight and at the PPV. They all drink champagne. See, TNA doesn't have a wellness policy.
-Tenay and West run down the Hard Justice Card again:
-Lauren is with Joe, and tells him what Booker just said. Joe then asks why Sting had to blindside him these past three weeks? Sting is no ICON, he is a coward. And when he gets his hand son him he will turn the white makeup red. Joe then says he didn't go far enough at Victory Road. He was merciful. But at Hard Justice he is coming for his belt, and there is nothing Booker can do about it.
-We get a video package of "Sting's Actions."
-JB is with AJ. In regards to Kurt Angle, AJ says Angle may be focused on him and that's fine. But turning a nobody into a somebody? AJ helped build this company 6-years ago. If anything, it was Angle that jumped on the bandwagon and AJ made friends with him. As far as Karen goes, he looked him in the eyes and denied it. There is nothing else he can do, other than that. And the comparing himself to troops? No, Angle is a punk who got lucky. At the PPV bring Tomko, Trigg and anyone else, because he will be the last man standing.
-JB is the ring announcer for the 8-Man Weapons Filled Gauntlet Match. 2-men will start, and then 2-minutes later 2-more men will enter. Over the top rope rules, until the final two men and then it is pin or submission. Each man may bring a weapon of his choice with them to the ring.
8-Man Weapons Filled Gauntlet Match Participants will be: Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Matt Morgan, BG James, Kurt Angle, Tomko, Kip James, Booker T
Kurt Angle with a trashcan is the first man. AJ is #2 with a ladder. They brawl as AJ attacks Angle right away. Rights and chops by AJ, Angle rakes the eyes and then uses the uppercuts. AJ with the dropkick, goes to the floor and grabs the ladder. Back in and Angle nails him with the can. They battle as Angle tries to toss AJ, fails and then shoots AJ off the ropes and then they get the double cross body and are down. Matt Morgan and Tomko are next. Morgan has a chair, Tomko with a 2x4. They brawl to the floor and Morgan chases him to the back. Ok, we're back to AJ and Angle. Clash try by AJ, but Angle backdrops him to the apron and a springboard superman forearm by AJ! AJ wedges a chair in the corner, Angle up and gets a boot and uppercuts to AJ. They counter each other and Angle finally catapults AJ into the chair. BG James and Kip James are next. They had a chair and a road sign. They brawl on the floor and BG is slammed to the barricade. Kip has a dead end sign, apparently talking about his career (Thanks Lansdell.) Angle eats the ladder that was set up and he is busted open badly. Refs check on him as he is COVERED in blood already. That's a lot of blood. Overhead belly to belly by Angle who is pouring blood right now. PELE by AJ! Joe and Booker are now out and they battle. Joe has the baton, Booker with the bat. We'll head to a commercial @ 6:45.
Back from commercial @ 10:00 with Angle beating down AJ. During the break Kip James was tossed. AJ tosses Angle and then Booker tosses AJ. Angle puts the ankle lock on AJ as they are on the floor. BG got tossed apparently and Morgan cleans house on Booker and Tomko. Eye poke by Booker, but Morgan gets a bog boot. Clothesline to Tomko and then a side slam. Joe was sent to the floor, but not over the top. Booker attacks Morgan as he beat on Tomko and then they toss Morgan. Joe is back in as Tomko and Booker beat him down. Joe fires back on Booker, but Tomko stops that. Superkick by Booker to Joe. He has Joe on the ropes but Joe tosses Tomko into Booker and he is gone. Big boot by Tomko to Joe as Booker demands Tomko beat down Joe. Tomko with the trashcan, to the second rope and Joe slams the can into his face. MUSCLE BUSTER~! 1…2…3.
Winner: Samoa Joe @ 14:05 via pin
Not bad really, Angle gutted through with the gusher and looked good overall. Joe got to look dominant with the win, but it was very hectic. The ending played off of the weeks of Joe/Booker/Sting stuff and Angle and AJ got their time, hyping their match at the PPV.
RATING: **
-Joe calls out Booker and says that at Hard Justice the champ will come for his belt. After he is down with Booker, STING, you're next. Sting's music hits, the lights go down and we see Sting in the rafters.
-We get a highlight video with music from F.I.L.T.H.E.E.
-End scene…
Remember to send your thoughts on the show for the 4R's!
Tomko again? Isn't he supposed to have been released? Or is he just not renewing his contract but still has a bit of time to go on it and, strangely, still being dominant instead of being buried (or at least doing a rush finish on his feud with Morgan) like people normally are in their last days?
Posted By: The Ogre (Guest) on August 07, 2008 at 11:13 PM
Ogre, that was it for Tomko as at the taping for tonight's Impact, he apparently said his goodbyes to everyone.
Posted By: Guest#9162 (Guest) on August 07, 2008 at 11:27 PM
This was taped like two weeks ago, before Tomko left the company.
Posted By: Jedi (Guest) on August 07, 2008 at 11:29 PM
Is it just me, or did Don West call the double-cookie sheet shot to the side of Roxxis head a "Con-Chair-To"? That kinda irritated me, cause first off, the name has CHAIRS in it, so normally, you would use that when a chair is involved, either by one (wo)man or two, but seriously, cookie sheets? I really don't like Don West.
And to answer you, The Ogre:
Tomko was released AFTER the TNA Tapings were done, so he probably either didn't know he was leaving, or had an idea and was filling out his last date. But yeah, since those were taped LAST Tuesday, he was released later in the week. It was good to see him though once more, kinda reminising that we wouldn't see him any longer in TNA.
And for the record, I'm starting to dig Beer Money, INC. I really hope they get put in the TNA Video Game. Seriously. Booker T just came in November, and these two have been with the company for years. Hell, even Macho Man Jay Lethal and Cold Stone Shark Boy are in it.
I don't know how I feel about the opening of Impact being all shots from the video game.
Overall, i thought it was a decent impact.
One little other complaint: Is it just me, or did they really announce that one of the way to win the "Black Tie Brawl and Chain Match" between Sonjay and Lethal was to STRIP your opppnent down to their skeevies??? Seriously?? We're having a BRA-LESS and Panties Match at Hard Justice???? Oh yeah, or you could get a Pin or Submission. Now, I know they want to do gimmicks, but seriously. A BRA and PANTIES Match for the Men. Only in TNA.
Brother Ray = GOLD ON THE MIC Still reminds me of his Glory Days in the Original ECW when he could speak his own Promos.
Overall, not a bad Impact. Not great, but we got less crap. I liked the Machine Guns and Lethal Creed Tag Match. That was the Highlight of Impact. :D
Oh yeah, Ariel Salinas = BERRIED

The actual wrestling was great tonight I'll be very clear on that. My biggest beef is that the commentary sucks. On all the show's nobody is calling the moves and barely touching psychology, but TNA is the worst about it.
Traci and Velvet Sky looked even better then usual. maybe it's just me, but they seemed noticably sexier tonight. So Cal val on the other hand, looked kinda off, maybe I'm just noticing because she was so covered up tonight, or maybe it was hair and make up, but her face looked really long.
Now that I'm done being a pig. What's with the Machine Gun's wearing Lucha masks? they're from Detroit, if TNA wants to give them a fancy entrance get them a mustang or something. THey just look stupid.
WTF are they trying to do with Abyss. Now he's going to fued with Awesome Kong? your kidding me!

good show overall.joe booker was built well and i feel that they will deliver at the ppv. just keep stng ou of it til after the match.angle and aj continues to be a hot feud as well as the table match was also good. should be a good ppv on sunday if russo keeps the drama til after the matches end. super eric sucks and bring back the fallen angel please.
Posted By: dam (Guest) on August 07, 2008 at 11:48 PM
Tonight's show was decent, I thought. Everything was way too short, but at least it hyped Hard Justice well.
Creed and Lethal seemed like a great tag team, but I hope Shelley doesn't turn either.
Kurt slathered in his own blood was crazy, too...I thought he was gonna take it easy?
Posted By: Bman (Guest) on August 07, 2008 at 11:51 PM
is this the battle royal that kevin nash walked out on?
Posted By: jordan linkous (Guest) on August 07, 2008 at 11:55 PM
Awesome Kong does not need to associate with the Bleached Blond Bimbos or Cheerleader Raisha. She just needs to kill bitches dead, starting with the Bleached Blond Bimbos!
Posted By: Shone Jones (Guest) on August 08, 2008 at 12:10 AM
1) Jackie Rules
2) Salinas sucks as a wrestler but is hot as fuck
3) Kurt got FUCKED UP.
4) Matt Morgan must have been studying tapes of Sycho Sid and Undertaker.

A gimmick-heavy tv show trying to push a gimmick-heavy PPV.
In this ever-changing world of multiple airport screening checks, 5 dollar a gallon gas prices, a troubling economy, thank God for Vince Russo still being Vince Russo.

abyss vs kong, barbed wire massacre, BFG 08, BOOK IT!!!
Posted By: foghorn leghorn (Guest) on August 08, 2008 at 01:26 AM
i'm really not a big fan of the super-hero stuff but my entertainment comes from the matches and the wrestling matches for the most part were good tonight.
Posted By: cj (Guest) on August 08, 2008 at 01:27 AM
First off, dear god does James Storm deserve a push. The man can cut a promo, work his ass off, and is willing to do/sell anything in the ring. He is heeltastic. TNA push him, push him into a main event.
Number two, TNA's commentary team of Don West and Mike Tenay is god awful. Back in the day I loved watched ECW and a big part of that was because of Joey Styles. I want to be educated while I watch a match, I want to know the names of moves I have never seen before. These two jack offs can't call anything but the most basic powerbombs and hurricanas. TNA really needs to can both of these guys and get someone in there, who actually knows what the hell is going on.
Posted By: The Tank (Guest) on August 08, 2008 at 01:30 AM
Saeed / melissa would kick Abyss's ass given the chance. Kong should power bomb that big goof.
Posted By: I forgot my name (Guest) on August 08, 2008 at 01:31 AM
Read the name cause that's all you clowns can do! Idiots! Con-cahir-to smerto! Tomko gone - he'll be back! Don't worry your pertty little heads about it - just bob-on-it because your IQ's are lower that dip shit!
Posted By: Brother Bob Onit (Guest) on August 08, 2008 at 02:23 AM
I thought tonight's show was okay. Roode/Storm putting Homecide though the glass table ouch. Cage/Rhino vs. Team 3D will be another wwe hardcore match. I think 3D will lose Sunday because their contract is up pretty soon. Angle/AJ, I know Styles will bring everything he's got. Kurt's buddy from MMA sorta made a point that Kurt Angle is the franchise of TNA. And Samoa Joe/Booker T/Sting will probably end up being a 3 way at BFG.
Posted By: John (Guest) on August 08, 2008 at 03:45 AM
Actually, the People vs. Don West, the Tuxedo Deathmatch predates the Bra and Panties match by at least a decade or tow. It's just other wrestling organizations have realized most fans don't want to see two dudes fight to strip one another. At least, I figure they don't...

That's what TNA is supposed to do dumbass. The point of Hard Justice is to be mostly gimmick matches. Some people are just destined to remain stupid I guess.
A decent show? Are you kidding me? Homicide through a glass table? The MCMG/Creed-Lethal match, which you NEVER see in the WWE anymore, and you drones have the nerve (especially Csonka) to call that decent?
That is the kind of wrestling we just don't get anymore on free TV. I guess all of you (especially Csonka) are so brainwashed by nice pyros and JR's voice that you don't remember what watching exciting wrestling is all about.

Say what you will about Don West and Mike Tenay but Kurt Angle getting nearly decapitated by that ladder in the Weapons gauntlet match and bleeding allover the place kicked all kinds of asses.

I'm sick and fucking tired of commercial breaks during matches!!!
Every fucking match has a god damn commercial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted By: Guest#4425 (Guest) on August 09, 2008 at 08:58 PM
scott, will you PLEASE be kind enough to shut the hell up already?
SNME was a show about nothing(and not in a good way, like say seinfeld), so i hardly see how you can expect a compelling and in-depth review of that show. impact this week, on the other hand - was more fresh in my opinion then all of the redundant SNME shows combined(not talking about the original snme btw)
