Posted by Larry Csonka on 10.20.2008
In the main event Batista dominates the latest Adamle Original, elsewhere the Miz and John Morrison defeat Kofi Kingston and CM Punk and when you hear the glass, watch you ass because STONE COLD STEVE HAASTIN is in the house!
WWE RAW: 10.20.08
-Cole and The King welcome us to the show and Kelly Kelly makes her way to the ring.
-Candice, Jillian and Katie Lea come to the ring as well. Jillian "sings."
Kelly Kelly and Candice Michelle vs. Jillian Hall and Katie Lea
Kelly attacks her and stops the "singing." Kelly and Hall to begin, sloppy back flip spot and a clothesline by Kelly gets a cover for 2. Snap mare, tag and a double elbow to Hall. A whip to the corner, Candice sidesteps and stun guns Hall off of the top rope. She does her wacky submission in the ropes, and Lea kicks her to the floor. Lea tags in and tosses Candice back in, cover for 2. Seated abdominal stretch by Lea, Candice to her feet and elbows out. Lea then gets a Urinage into the back breaker, and covers for 2. Tag back to Hall, to the corner and the handspring elbow by Hall gets 2. To the corner, Candice elbows Lea, head scissors (sort of) to Hall and tags in Kelly. She runs wild with clotheslines, head scissors follow and then to the corner. A boot by Kelly, 2nd rope cross body and a cover for 2 as Lea breaks that up. Candice in, dumps Lea and then breaks up a pin try by Hall. Fameasser by Kelly gets the win.
Winners: Kelly Kelly and Candice Michelle @ 4:00 via pin
-King and Cole hype Cyber Sunday and we get clips from last week's Raw.
~RAW…IS…JERICHO~
World Champion Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring. He then goes to the floor and demands that Lillian announce him as the World Champion. She does and he takes the mic from her and returns to the ring. Jericho says that there is a lack of respect and he should never have to tell Lillian how to announce him. He is the world champion, and she needs to say it as much as possible. But the disrespect has gone to the locker room and it has spread like a virus to the crowd here tonight. YOU SUCK CHANTS for Jericho. It is pure disrespect. Somehow they think he will lose at Cyber Sunday, and he also says they shouldn't have the choice of who the referee is. Even Mike Adamle is disrespecting him by making the stipulation. The list is a joke. Orton, HBK and Stone Cold. It's a joke and not fair to him as the champion. Adamle has forgotten who he is dealing with and so have we. He was the first undisputed champion after he beat Rock and Austin in the same night. He then beat four of the biggest stars on Raw, Punk in a cage match and the HBK is a match he was supposed to win. He did all of that because he is the best. And after he defeats Batista, we will have to admit that he is the best and most dominate champion in years.
Batista now makes his way to the ring to further disrespect Jericho. Batista asks if Jericho is seriously demanding respect. He says both that and Jericho's hair are a joke and that you earn respect. But if Jericho wins at Cyber Sunday (chuckle by Batista) he will earn a lot of respect. But until then, PUH-LEASE stop whining and shut your mouth, or he will shut it for him.
Mike Adamle now is out and says to save it for the PPV. Right now he will discuss respect. Their performances tonight will deserve who earns respect. They will both face the same three guys in a gauntlet match. In a gauntlet match, yes he repeated himself. It will be different, unpredictable and it will be another Adamle original. Batista and Jericho stare down and Jericho slaps him and bails.
-We see highlights of HAAS HOGAN from last week!
-JBL makes his way to the ring. He gets the mic and says that it is character assassination to compete against a "has been" impersonator. He is a man of dignity and wealth. He is rich. This isn't sing along with JBL, you listen to him talk. The rich will become richer, and the poor will become, that would be you, become poorer.
-THE GLASS BREAKS!
-STONE COLD STEVE HAASTIN!
-STONE COLD!
-STONE COLD!
-STONE COLD!
-STONE COLD STEVE HAASTIN checks his watch, and JBL says he has got to be kidding. WHAT! Who do you think you are? WHAT! You've lost your mind. EH EH! STONE COLD STEVE HAASTIN asks for a hell yeah, and JBL says Haas, nor Austin could NEVER lace his boots.
JBL vs. STONE COLD STEVE HAASTIN
Thesz Press! Elbow drop and then rights by STONE COLD STEVE HAASTIN. He beats JBL down and stomps the mud hole in him and walks it dry! Stunner stopped, big boot by JBL. Clothesline from hell and that's all.
Winner: JBL @ 1:00 via pin
-JBL gets the mic and say that is the bottom line, because JBL said so!
-Rey walks.
-We get a Mike Knox video package.
Rey Mysterio vs. Snitsky
Snitsky still has a job? No shit. He gets a WWF Superstars little box promo, and we're off. CLUBBERIN TIME from Snitsky, and then turns a head scissors into a side back breaker. Elbow drops by Snitsky and a cover for 2. Snitsky slams Rey to the corner, lays the boots to him and backs off. More kicks by Snitsky, a whip and then misses a boot as Rey ducks. Rights by Rey, springboard into the seated senton. Double stomp off of the top rope by Rey. They basically blow a RANA spot, Snitsky sells, 619, splash off of the ropes and Rey wins. I wish Snitsky well in his future endeavors.
Winner: Rey Mysterio @ 2:00 via pin
-We get a John Cena video package.
-Miz and Morrison get the mic and want to let us all know that we can vote for them to compete at Cyber Sunday. He voted for Tofu Tuesday's at his school and got it. They are more Fabulous than the Freebirds, more Legendary than the Legion of Doom and better than DX. They then mock DX a bit, "ARE YOU 50? NO I SAID, ARE YOU 50?" Well then, we got 2 words for you, BE JEALOUS!"
CM Punk and Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz and John Morrison
Morrison and Punk to begin. Lock up and a go behind by Punk. Takes Morrison to the mat, Morrison gets to his feet and then elbows out. Tag to Miz and lefts to Punk. Off the ropes and Punk with an Enziguri. A tag to Kofi, off the ropes and they work over Miz with kicks and Kofi covers for 2. Kofi works the arm, off the ropes and a duck under and dropkick by Kofi. Miz to the floor, back in and then Punk tags back in. Kicks to the gut of Miz, one to the face and Punk covers for 2. Tag back to Kofi, double suplex on Miz, they get Morrison and then toss him to the floor onto Miz. Miz slides back in, Kofi then gets a cover for 2. Punk tags back in and gets a boot to Miz, flying forearm follows and a cover for 2 by Punk. Clubbing forearms by Miz now, to the corner and a reversal, Kofi nails Miz, tags in and delivers uppercuts to Miz. An arm drag and a cover for 2. Kofi works the facelock, off the ropes and a monkey flip by Kofi. Misses the corner mount and Morrison levels him with a leaping kick. Morrison tags in and delivers mounted rights to Kofi. Kofi tries to fight back in the wrong corner, northern lights suplex by Morrison gets 2. Morrison then locks in the chinlock, and we head to a commercial @ 6:00.
Back from commercial @ 8:00 with Morrison still in control over Kofi. Tag to Miz, who stops a tag by Kofi and he then works the chinlock. Kofi works to escape, gets to his feet and elbows out. Clubbing shots by Miz, to the corner and Kofi sends him to the apron and then Miz slams Kofi down. Catapult into the slingshot elbow combo by Miz and Morrison, which gets a cover for 2 as Punk makes the save. Morrison works the chinlock again, into the dragon sleeper now but Kofi fires up and escapes. Off the ropes and a boot by Kofi, rights to Miz and then rolls Ricky Morton style for the tag to Punk! Spinkicks, rights, slaps and a high kick to Morrison. Corner knee of doom into the bulldog by Punk. Something is off with the springboard clothesline spot as they seemed to bail halfway through, they recover, Kofi sent to the floor and Punk gets the GTS on Morrison, Miz blind tagged in though and rolls up Punk for the win.
Winners: The Miz and John Morrison @ 12:00 via pin
-Adamle and Jericho talk. Jericho says he should be respected as a champion like Rogers, Hart and Hogan. Adamle is working to get him that respect tonight.
-Did you know…that I don't give a flying fuck about all of these, "did you know" things?
~Wacky Santino~
Santino comes to the ring dresses as Piper Goldust and Honky all wrapped into one with Beth at his side. Seriously. Santino says choosing his opponent for Cyber Sunday looks difficult, but he will make it easy for us. They are all washed up. First of all Rodney the Piper, the Hot Rod isn't a hot bod. Piper's Pit should be Piper's Ponch. It looks like Piper has been out of gum for a while, two words, SUGAR FREE. And then there is Golden Dust, he shattered the American Dream Joe the Plumber's Dream. His career has flamed out. "Oh no you didn't! Oh yes I did." And then there is the Honky Donkey Man. He has pork chop side burns, eats pork chops and combs his hair with pork chops grease. He made a career out of impersonating the king, and not Jerry Stupid Lawler. Stupid. The King Elvis, who dies on the toilet while pinching off the career of the Honky Donkey Man.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan then makes his way to the ring. Speaking of washed up, Duggan looks like he needs a bath, hot meal and a bus ticket to somewhere. Duggan says Santino is about to run out of minutes for his 15-minutes of fame. He then calls Santino confused, and while he has seen a lot of flashes in the pan he doesn't appreciate Santino disrespecting his generation. Has he been hanging with Sting? Santino says Hacksaw is sad because he doesn't have a HONK-A-METER! Santino is at 10 weeks, and then says Duggan was never the IC Champion and only won a gold medal in the goodwill games. Duggan says to stand up when he talks, and then says if it wasn't for his boyfriend, Santino wouldn't even be IC Champion. He calls Beth tough guy, and then Santino gets ready for battle. He hands Beth all of his shit, and then says he should give the clothes to Hacksaw before he robs them. EL KABONG goes the guitar on good old Hacksaw. Santino busted his mouth open somehow in there (guitar shrapnel), and then says we will never forget the name of the greatest champion of the Earth, Santino Marella.
-We get a video of some recent international WWE events.
Rhodes, Dibiase and Manu jump Cryme Tyme and beat their asses. Corner splash by Manu on Shad and the beat down continues. That's a no contest, Roger, over and out.
No Contest
-Dibiase gets the titles and the Second-Generation stars celebrate their success.
-Cole and King hype WrestleMania 25, and then Cyber Sunday.
Here is the current card for the WWE Cyber Sunday PPV:
- Kane vs. Rey Mysterio The WWE Universe Picks the Match: Falls Count Anywhere, No Holds Barred or 2 of 3 Falls Match
- The Undertaker vs. The Big Show The WWE Universe Picks the Match: Last Man Standing, I Quit, or Knockout Match
- Diva's Halloween Costume Contest The WWE Universe Picks the Winner
-Adamle is in the ring to hype up his Adamle Original.
Adamle's Original Gauntlet Match Spectacular: Batista/Chris Jericho vs. William Regal w/Layla, Mark Henry w/Tony Atlas and Kane
They brawl, off the ropes and a spinebuster by Batista. Batista bomb and that is all in under a minute.
Chris Jericho now gets to face Regal. Regal struggles to get to his feet, Jericho demands he stand and he does. CODEBREAKER by Jericho and that's all.
Jericho now starts with man #2, Mark Henry. Jericho charges Henry, fails and then tries the walls and gets tossed to the floor. Jericho back in, clothesline by Henry and he then beats Jericho down in the corner. Henry gets the corner splash, but then misses a splash, lionsault by Jericho gets 2. Jericho undoes the turnbuckle pad, and then grabs the belt and as the ref tries to fix the turnbuckle, Jericho uses the belt and is DQ'd at 2:30.
Batista in, rights by Batista and then the spinebuster, that's all in under a minute.
Jericho has to begin the final part, against Kane. They go to commercial.
Back from commercial and Kane covers Jericho for 2. To the corner, and Kane continues the beat down. Rights by Kane in the corner, but Jericho attacks the knee of Kane and lays in the kicks. Jericho then slams the knee off of the steel post, Batista apparently doesn't approve of this strategy. Kane back with an uppercut, but Jericho with the single leg takedown and tries the walls, countered and rights by Kane connect. A clothesline, to the corner and a splash by Kane, side slam follows and Kane then misses the elbow drop. Codebreaker countered, Kane up top now and Jericho crotches him. Jericho up top with Kane, clubbing shots to the back and Jericho goes for the superplex, countered and he is tossed off. Kane flies in with the clothesline and covers Jericho for 2. Kane looks for the chokeslam, Jericho escapes and then gets tossed onto the top rope and then to the floor, a miscue there. Batista makes sure Jericho doesn't escape, Kane basically MISSES the big boot as Jericho ran by and sold it anyway, and then Kane pins Jericho.
Batista spears Kane and pins him. YAY, what the fuck did I just watch?
Winner: Batista
-Batista reminds Jericho that he only has 6-days until Cyber Sunday and then celebrates.

God damn, 8 things to vote for? All by text? WWE is getting some money this year.

stone cold steve haastin was hilarious
Posted By: Michael Cole (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:20 PM
It'd be nice if you could do star ratings/short comments since we don't seem to get Rawtopsy these days. Especially since you do it for TNA.
Posted By: Westen (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:24 PM
I have to go thru my old tapes and find a Nitro or Thunder to watch so I can forget about how pathetic Raw was for the 390th straight week.
As for "Santino being golden" no, he's a no talent bum and an idiotic imbecile.
Posted By: Darren (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:25 PM
At least ECW is on tomorrow!
Posted By: this guy (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:26 PM
The main event was horrible. I don't know what the hell they were thinking when they thought that would be a good idea, but it was really bad. Tonight's show just fell flat IMO.
Posted By: Bobby (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:26 PM
weak...I like to give the E the benefit of the doubt most times but this show was a double flusher...
and this was the go home show to cyber sunday? Adamle can't remember his lines, steps all over Batista's intro PLUS jumps his cue for telling Jericho the rules to the gauntlet match...Santino was annoying, a super dead crowd AND the wrestling that the wwe universe (aka the IWC) absolutely love bored me to shit... I demand an apology or at least a new set of batteries for my remote for all the flipping around I did tonite
Posted By: luthor (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:30 PM
The Divas is the only thing that kept me excited. Yawn at whatever else happened as I turned off due to boredom
Posted By: Sam (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:31 PM
I'm normally easily impressed, but tonight's raw was really really WEAK!
It opened with a pretty good match, had a funny moment with Haastin, and Jericho vs Kane was okay. but other than that it was weak. I'm talking Colin Delaney Weak.
Posted By: Davis (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:41 PM
Okay and Punk/Kofi, vs Miz/Morrison was pretty good. but it wasn't special.
Posted By: Davis (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:43 PM
I read these reports now more than ever, since I don't watch anymore...
Posted By: TheEnd (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:44 PM
Miz and Morrison's promo and match = the whole show.
Posted By: scott (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:46 PM
This show sucked! The ending made no sense. Adamle never explained the rules of the Gauntlet, so nobody knew what the Hell was going on. The best match was easily the Punk/Kofi vs. Morrison/Miz match.
Posted By: dude11767 (Registered) on October 20, 2008 at 11:46 PM
The only good parts of the show were SCSH and Miz & Morrison. Batista and Adamle seriously need to GTFO.
Posted By: Metalingus (Guest) on October 20, 2008 at 11:52 PM
"Adamle can't remember his lines, steps all over Batista's intro PLUS jumps his cue for telling Jericho the rules to the gauntlet match"
if it is on tv, it is a work.

What a lousy show.

"This show sucked! The ending made no sense. Adamle never explained the rules of the Gauntlet, so nobody knew what the Hell was going on."
Jericho and Batista each wrestle 3 matches against the same 3 guys, and Adamle picks who faces each one of the three first. Not really complicated.
Posted By: Guest#5539 (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 12:01 AM
Another meh Raw. Maybe its time for some creative changes?
Posted By: DP (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 12:02 AM
Raw sucked, again. Surprise. Think about this, the WWE has us paying about $45 bucks a PPV, I think, haven't ordered one in a while. They ALSO want us to TEXT in our votes for 8 matches at a buck a vote. Add it all up and tell me how much this PPV costs someone to watch if they vote on all matches. With the economy the way it is and people just making it these days can't the WWE give us a break and give us a $9.95 PPV one time? They should do it. Don't make it some bullcrap special Tuesday night thing or something because then they are just getting EXTRA money. Make it an actual PPV thats 10 bux like Armageddon or something. Anyone agree?
Posted By: SuperManFan737 (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 12:13 AM
Is it wrong that my favorite parts of Raw anymore are the segments with Santino or Haas' impersonations???
Posted By: Guest#3399 (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 12:23 AM
With shows like this, I'm telling you...WWE is going out of business in no time. You kids and marks will have no wrestling to watch on TV anymore and will be forced to search the indies.
irony
Posted By: Trompe La Monde (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 12:30 AM
Santino was great once again. Miz and Morrison vs. Kofi and CM Punk was the best match of the show. Haas is funny, but how many more matches against Big Tits Bradshaw do we need? The main event was terrible IMO... Jericho was made out to be a chump, just like CM Punk before. I guess WWE forgot that the World champ is supposed to be the best on Monday Nights, not the worst
Posted By: GUEST (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 12:39 AM
Weak episode of Raw overall. The young guys are carrying the show, as it probably should be, but the main event guys don't seem to be getting the chance to do what they should be doing as the top program on the show. The main events surrounding Jericho and Batista are being overbooked all to hell. WWE is seriously treading water until Cena and Randy Orton come back, and it's gonna hurt the show in the long run.
The Santino segment was hilarious, if a bit long. Ironically, with his lip spewing blood at the end of his promo, it's probably the most badass Santino has ever looked. And I wish the "boyfriend" jokes would stop, already. It's not really getting over, anyway - Beth Phoenix is one of the hottest chicks on the show.
The sports entertainment stuff was fun, but not what things should be based around the week before a PPV.
Posted By: BJC (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 12:46 AM
Were Cole & King having a tickle fight at ringside during the JBL/Haastin match?
And did Cole say MAVERICK during the Miz/Morisson - Punk/Kofi match...?
Posted By: Geoff Eubanks (Registered) on October 21, 2008 at 01:09 AM
Tonight's Raw = EPIC SNORE!!!!
I'm staying optimistic though, things will get better once Orton and Cena are back to full health
Posted By: OneofaKind! Justin (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 01:17 AM
Hopefully they take something away from the Santino segment and let him look a little more badass in his matches. The guy had a mouthful of blood and didn't even flinch. If they could make him into a character who goes batshit crazy when it comes to defending his title, it would probably help him out a lot in the long run.
Posted By: Homie (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 01:23 AM
Speaking of washed up, Jim Duggan looks like he's been tagging with Mr. Bubble.

WTF! The King of the ring 2008 announced as such and buried like Gavin Spears? WTF!
Posted By: TNA? TNA? TNA? (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 01:28 AM
Cole and Lawler have got to stop doing the forced laughter thing. The Haas thing isn't even that funny, and they just make it worse.
You've got to respect the Honkey Tonk Man... As many times as he hit people on the head with his guitar, Santino hits a guy with it one time and gets busted open.
Posted By: Guest#2689 (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 01:30 AM
Is the WWE honestly thinking that was a good build to a ppv? freaking$45 bucks, no way champ.
Posted By: matt (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 01:33 AM
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA not even 30 comments tonight.

How did they not have Austin atleat make an appearance at the show!!! I mean the guy hasnt even been on the show (fulltime) in YEARS!!!! But he still gets the pop from the crowd, i mean just havent walk down the ramp and say a quick F**K you to Jericho and JBL and have him leave, the match at the PPV would atleast seem interesting... I mean this is the first year that Shawn would actually be voted in higher than austin, i mean WTF....Hasstin is not a push, seriously.....lata

WWE going out of business? I say keep dreaming. I am not saying that this was a great show but WWE is not going to go out of business. Just like I have to tell some of those asswipes on Youtube who says that TNA will be the ones to force WWE out of business, If WCW couldn't do it, then Jeff Jarrett is not going to do it.
I don't say that to hate TNA because I don't but I shudder to think what the world would be like if TNA was the only game in town.I think WWE will be in business long enough to present Wrestlemania 50. How do you like that?
Posted By: Rob Z (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 05:57 AM
They need to stop with the Haas segments and fire the useless waste of space already

I've been hot for RAW for months but this show sucked. Besides the tag match. Hope we get back to the great form raw has been on lately next week.
Posted By: Steiner (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 07:53 AM
Hey Rob z...don't worry about the wwe going out of business just yet...
it's those pisser and moaners who do nothing but complain about every aspect of the show that keep the 'E in business...youd think theyd be smart enough to stop watching if it pisses them off so much...sheep
Posted By: cap'n (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 08:06 AM
Why is it that Raw seems so 'thrown together', whereas Smackdown has proper direction and perspective? Are they trying too hard on Raw?
SCSH and Santino are funny, but it would be so much better if these segments came in between MEANINGFUL matches that actually have a purpose.
Posted By: Probes (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 08:06 AM
Dude I thought Santino was gonna fall over. He looked like Gene Simmons with that blood pouring out of his mouth. Props for continuing like a trooper. He was great. Hacksaw, put your shirt back on buddy. Love you.
Posted By: T-Mac (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 08:10 AM
Now im very loyal to WWF/E and have always been. ill watch the product no matter what, but having just watched Raw... well the less said the better, it was appauling. Santino was gold(dust) as usual, but i dont think the growd get him, Haastin was sick! apart from that this raw was the worst ive seen in a few years.
i watched ECW (the week b4) b4 i watched raw to compare products, and ecw seems so simple and good wrestling, raw has alot of wrestlers past there prime, as much as i loved old kane, he's so stiff in the ring. jbl is a joke, michaels is gud but cnt go on 4eva. jericho is quality, mysterio can hardly move without being injured. but the product needs new people. 'trade' bourne knox morrison miz on raw, there the future stars, they've all god good characters and can do something i havent seen in a while... WRESTLE/ ENTERTAIN!
Posted By: WWELoyalist (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 08:21 AM
EPIC...
Just sharing one of my favorite Faith No More songs. Oh, yeah the show, snoozefest, except Santino.
Posted By: HvyMetalMG (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 09:11 AM
I feel like we've been watching pretty much the same episode of Raw for the past couple months.
Posted By: Tom (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 09:21 AM
I vote for Haas to go over JBL doing a Rock impression...If ya smell what the Haas is cookin'....
Posted By: The Haas (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 09:21 AM
"Is it wrong that my favorite parts of Raw anymore are the segments with Santino or Haas' impersonations???"
No, it's not wrong. It's all too right, except for Duggan. Why the hell is he still out there, ever? I don't know if he's punchy or retarded, but enough already.
Posted By: Steve B (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 09:45 AM
Why is it that Raw seems so 'thrown together', whereas Smackdown has proper direction and perspective? Are they trying too hard on Raw?
simple raw is live smackdown is taped edited and hence flow.
Posted By: Guest#3678 (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 09:52 AM
Mostly not great-- but Santino's segment was friggin Awesome. It got even BETTER once he got busted open-- standing there, "CHAMPION OF PLANET EARTH" bleeding out the mouth in the gold dust make up. You just can't plan for moments like that...
Posted By: M:-X (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 10:05 AM
Wow, I didn't know it was so cool to hate on people who hate Raw.
Why so serious. Everyone is entitled to your opinion, there are other ways to feel like you're smarter or superior to someone. You buy a product, you have the right to criticize it.
No they aren't going out of business, but if you don't think they're concerned that they're getting beaten by MMA in pay per view buys these days you're silly. Viewership is dropping, and they're not going to have a next generation of fans unless they freshen this shit up already!
Posted By: Boo Hoo (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 10:29 AM
Where were Orton and Michaels(in his home state even)? They at least woulda made the show semi interesting.
Posted By: Gary (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 10:35 AM
What a load of crap and disrespect to austin. I hate wwe for doing these stupid ripoffs of hogan austin and perfect.
Posted By: steven1977 (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 10:47 AM
If the rest of the show is going to suck, can we at least get Layla into some hot outfits?
Posted By: Bad guy (Guest) on October 21, 2008 at 10:51 AM
Santino is the best IC champ and best heel since Honky Tonk Man. He is hilarious and makes for good TV. I remember Honky's run and how much I hated him. I couldn't believe he beat Steamboat for the belt and thought he would lose it back right away. Everytime he fought some big face I would be shocked that he retained. But now, I miss him and would kill for a guy like that to be around again. Santino is the closest thing and doing a great job at it.
Sadly, Piper will win the vote (or the WWE will have Piper win it). I love Piper, but it's been done before. A Santino/HTM match would be refreshing.
And the WWE needs to stop making Jericho look so weak. Haven't they learned anything since his first reign?

This show was pretty boring. I agree that the old stars are getting stale. How many times can you see Kane, Mark Henry, William Regal or JBL go out and do the same stuff over and over. As for the new guys the only interesting ones are CM Punk, Santino and Kofi Kingston. The rest are just the same old boring white guys (Charlie Haas, DiBiase, Rhodes, Miz, they are all interchangeable). Cryme Time could be decent, but they are stuck with that racist gimmick. Morrison used to have some promise, but they buried him with that no-talent Miz.
The new Jericho sucks but if they put the title on Batista now who does he wrestle next? Mysterio? JBL? Kane? Raw is definitely in a funk. It seems that the last draft really ended up screwing Raw and they are having a hard time finding a rhythm since.

batista is winning alot which means that he will not win the title at cyber sunday!!!

I'm telling you, whoever wins the vote for the IC Championship match will walk out, says he's not feeling all that well and has found a replacement and BOOM!!! RVD returns!!! BAW GAWD!!!

Seems Batistas been taking lessons from Triple H in how to bury talent. Trips best watch out because Batista nearly beat his record for most burials in one match

Raw sucked tonight big time, not even Santino could save it.
Batista fighting (and definitely losing) another world title match is just a joke at this stage I mean the guy has been chasing the belt for near a year consistently with about 20 chances at it at failed on all attempts.
I think this was the most bored I've been for a longtime... but Cyber is such a filler PPV that its hard to get excited about it and shows building to it.
I pray things pick up going into Survivor Series.

I think I am officially going to give up on William Regal from now on. The 2008 King of the Ring will probably be his last accomplishment in wrestling. He got destroyed by Batista and didn't even get to evenly fight Jericho. Why didn't Jericho just start all the matches? Nope, Batista had to kill Regal first to send a message. Oie, its only a matter of time before Regal is gone I feel.

I think its a shitty thing to make any wrestler look weak.

Why is Haas imitating TNA's Sharkboy?
Santino's opponent at Cyber Sunday -
- Roddy Haasper
- GoldHaas
or
- The Haasy Tonk Man

The Haas stuff isn't really THAT funny. Sharkboy does a much better parody of Austin, honestly. They have to change it up a bit with Haas.

When Duggan retires he can play the part of the Geico caveman. Holy shit has time not been kind to old Hacksaw.

Well, that was 90 minutes of my life I will never get back.
How much can you shill an interactive PPV that nobody cares about?
I'm sick of Vinces McMahonguage:
Superstars, Divas, WWE, Universe.
Fuck off. Correct me if I am wrong, but when I got into WWF WRESTLING, I was attracted to the larger than life characters, clear definitions between good and bad and WRESTLERS I actually wanted to see. If this is Vinces drive for a new PG audience, he is going about it in the wrong way.
Bring back Tag Teams, bring back Heel managers and clearly defined heel stables. Quit the tweener shit with people like Michaels and Batista and fuck off with the bullshit "Nothing else exists but the WWE" philosophy.
WWE now is not putting out anything better than WCW did before it folded.
That, my IWC counterparts, is very, very worrying if this is a viewer recruitment drive...............

Tonight's RAW = EPIC SUCCESS

The reason WWE is making you pay for votes is so Vince can make his money back when he "gave away his millions"

What the hell was that main event. The rules made no sense. Adamale was turd on the mic and kept messing it up. I don't mind Kane pinning Jericho, but with a big boot. Even Stevie Richards (or any other jobber for that matter) would have kicked out of that one.
The crowd didn't seem to like it too much, which is a bad sign. Pay off Adamle and get Austin in for GM. Then he and JBL can have a power feud. He probably needs money and something to do other than attack the fairer sex.
Santino's segment was too long and pointless. If the guy can't wrestle then don't put the IC (sorry, jokecontinental) belt on him.
Cyber Sunday is the probably one PPV too many. Are they that desperate for cash to get people to ring in to "decide" what matches they want. Most of the matches are the same thing e.g. knock-out match = last man standing, no holds barred = falls count anywhere (pretty much). They probably check the votes a couple of weeks in advance and then plan the match.
PS - I hope Orton gets voted in.

This isn't related to this week's crappy RAW, but have any of you seen how Molly Holly (Nora Greenwald) looks nowadays? What happened?! She's lost a lot of weight and looks kind of frail. I hope she's not sick or anything. What happened to the Molly with some meat on her bones and the hot ass?

Give some credit to whomever does Charlie Haas makeup and wardrobe since he at least looks like the wrestler he is "hilariously" impersonating. too bad they can't make him sound like them. Okay Santino the whole routine was funny the first 800 times you did it but it's grown really stale. Please stop the creepy breathing too. And nothing draws more heel heat than ripping on another heel wrestler who hasn't been on camera in over 11 years.

Can ANYONE tell me what that main event was supposed to achieve? It was awful, just brutal. And why on earth didn't WWE book Austin to appear as special guest ref for the Haasstin-JBL match? They teased it enough and it would have made a poor show memorable.
Posted By: APinOz (Guest) on October 22, 2008 at 04:04 AM
batista vs the entire raw rooster for wrestlemania....book it vince please
and there is one thing the main event scene needs more of is batista....all the ppvs should have batista in every brands main event either watching or fighting or doing a run in
as much as I hate what tna is doing with sting I watch raw and see someone who I am sick of seeing even more
