Street Fight: Edge vs. Shawn Michaels. RAW on 01/22/2007. This was part of the DX/Rated RKO feud. Edge and Orton are tag champs because they beat Flair and Piper for the belts in a pretty awesome match more for its destruction of Flair and Piper than any quality wrestling. Alas, they would lose the belts next week to HBK and Cena to build up for WM XXIII. This is already a few weeks after Triple H tore his other quad. TO THE MATCH!

• They slug it out to start and HBK wins that one. Edge is sporting taped up ribs and HBK tears off his belt and goes to tanning his hide or in this case, his ribs. HBK looks under the ring and comes up with some chairs and a trashcan. He waffles Edge with an UNPROTECTED TRASH CAN SHOT! HBK then pulls the same mistake that countless horror movie victims pull of throwing the weapon away too soon. HBK clotheslines Edge to the floor. He tries to follow with a plancha but Edge hits him with a BRUTAL trashcan lid shot on the way down. We take a break and come back to Edge pounding down HBK in the ring and he’s busted open. During the break, Edge bulldoged HBK into the ringstairs. Edge rolls out and brings in a chain. He waffles HBK to the gut with it. Edge pulls in a ladder and suplexes it on HBK in a cool spot. Edge covers for 1, 2, 2 ½. JR: “It’s almost as if Edge suplexed the ladder off the second rope on Shawn Michaels.” Poor JR is still having trouble with what’s literal and what’s a simile because that’s EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! Edge now preps a powerbomb through a ladder but HBK punches his way free. They slug it out but HBK hits a burrito and kips up. He goes to the inverted atomic drops and now gets the chain. He now pulls the chain across Edges’s EYES and throws him into the turnbuckle several times. YEAH! Edge blades on that. HBK works the cut some more and now bodyslams Edge on the ladder bridged between the ring stairs. Edge cuts HBK off and they jockey for position on top. HBK wins that and hits a gordbuster on Edge off the top and DROPS HIM ON THE LADDER! HBK with the Macho elbow and he’s fired up. He tunes up the band but Edge ducks and wants the Electric Chair but they lose their balance and botch it. Edge goes for a Spear but HBK counters with a Thesz press to a big pop. He waffles Edge with a chairshot and now preps a Conchairto on Edge. HBK goes for it but Orton! WHERE THE HELL DID HE COME FROM!? Orton in with the RKO on HBK and he’s sporting a lot of bruising make up. Edge drapes the arm to win it at 11:13. Would have loved to have seen the whole thing as it was definitely a PPV quality brawl for the 10 minutes that it hung around even if it mostly ignored Edge’s taped up ribs for the easy psychology. As is the norm with TV matches, the commercial break is right through the heat and we come back for the hardcore spots so A+ if that’s your thing. ***1/2

World Heavyweight Championship: The Undertaker vs. Edge (c). Wrestlemania XXIV. UT with the throat slash to start and Edge shoves him. After Edge hits some rights, UT hits a couple of clotheslines that send Edge to the floor. Edge runs him around and cuts him off at the pass but UT no sells and Stun Guns him. Back in, UT works Edge over in the corner. He sends him across but runs into a boot. UT comes back with a flying part of a clothesline but it barely connects for 2. UT goes to the shoulder and wants Old School. Edge armdrags him off the top but UT rolls through and counters with his own. Nice. UT goes to the BLATANTCHOKE. UT goes for the flying hipcheck in the corner that never seems to make a lot of sense to me but whatever. He gets too much momentum and tumbles out to the floor. UT sells the impact and stumbles to the apron only for Edge to pseudo-Spear him off to the floor again. They really needed a name for that Spear that’s not quite a Spear. I’m now deeming it the Harpoon. UT tries coming in again and Edge baseball slide dropkicks him out. Edge now gives UT a neckbreaker over the top rope and poses to boos. That’s a spot I can always get behind. Edge with a Harpoon into the turnbuckle. UT comes back with a headbutt and tries a slam but the back buckles because of the damage done by the Harpoons. Edge with a dropkick and heads up top but UT cuts him off and Edge eats a BRUTAL flip bump off the top. UT follows out with the Flying Zombie Plancha. UT puts Edge on the apron for his legdrop. UT covers for only 2. UT wants the Last Ride but his back buckles and Edge boots him down for 2. UT takes a breather to regroup but Edge won’t give him room and instead gives UT a BACK SUPLEX ON THE BARRICADE! UT EATS IT TO THE FLOOR! Awesome.

• Back in, Edge covers for 2. Edge goes the half crab. Coach: “Everything Edge is doing right now, he’s doing for a reason.” Thanks for that. UT counters for a roll up for 2 but Edge goes right back to the crab. UT boots him away but Edge stays on the CLUBBINGBLOWS. They slug it out and it goes on a while. Ya know, that goes over much better in NOAH or Puro mostly because they are hacking the shit out of each other but these are those transparent “strykes” so not the same effect at all. UT wins and hits a few Ho Trains in the corner. UT with Snake Eyes but Edge no sells and hits a dropkick for 2. Edge heads up top but jumps off into a goozle. Edge tries to escape but UT goozles him again. Edge counters the ChokeSlam midair with the Edge-o-cutioner. Cool sequence of counters. Edge wants the Spear but UT hits a knee and the ChokeSlam now. Cover gets 1, 2, 2 ½. UT goes for Old School but Edge crotches him and superplexes him down. Crowd is with them but still pretty quiet. Edge mounts in the corner but UT counters to a Last Ride attempt. Edge goes for the ride—NO! Edge slides out for a neckbreaker. NICE! Cover gets only 2. Edge telegraphs a backdrop and NOW UT hits the Last Ride for 1, 2, 2.9! UT calls for the Tombstone with the throat slash. Edge slides out and counters to the Edge-o-matic for 2. UT counters a whip with a big boot but there might have been some miscommunication as the spot didn’t look right. UT with Old School. He goes for a Liu Kang kick but Edge ducks and they bump the ref. Edge with the falling reverse DDT but no ref to count. Edge tries taunting UT. WHAT DO YOU THINK NOW, DEADMAN?! IT ENDS! IT ENDS! UT counters the trashtalk with a goozle but Edge counters THAT with a BLATANTLOWBLOW. I love how Edge keeps countering everything to prolong the suspense of when he’s going to finally lose. Edge waffles some cameraman and steals his equipment. Edge waffles UT with the TV camera in a callback to Survivor Series where Edge cost UT the title against Batista in HITC. Edge tries to revive the ref but he falls to the floor. ZOMBIE SITUP! Edge goes for a slam but UT counters to the TOMBSTONE! COVERS GETS…. NOTHING! NO REF! HERE COMES CHARLES ROBINSON! He’s running down the mile-long entrance way like he’s Ultimate Warrior and what makes it even funnier is that the production cuts back and forth between Robinson and the action twice to make it seem even longer thus proving that Eisenstein and Kuleshov were geniuses and montage is terrific. He counters for 1, 2, 2.99! HAWKINS AND RYDER HAVE COME OUT! UT sends Iced Z and Preparation H back to Long Island. SPEAR! Cover gets 1, 2, 2.9! Unless I’m completely crazy, the crowd is not chanting FOR Edge. He hits another Spear. UT no sells and locks in Hell’s Gate and Edge taps out at 23:48.

• Match starts off solid with Edge working the lower back and UT showing some vulnerability thus letting the slightest bit of doubt slip in that Edge could win the match. But the match is made on Edge’s ability to counter every single one of UT’s signature moves multiple times throughout the match. Also the booking with the ref bump, camera foreign object, second ref, etc. all only enhance the drama at the end. Excellent match. ****1/4

Pick Your Poison Match: Edge vs. Christian. RAW 05/17/2010. Edge is face here after returning and winning the RR and then feuding with Jericho. This was part of the build-up to Edge/Orton at Over the Limit and they got to pick each other’s opponent. Orton picked Christian. This is in Canada by the way so the crowd is pretty into the whole concept of these two wrestling.

• Edge is reluctant to start because he wasn’t expecting to face his old tag partner. They trade waistlocks and Christian with a takedown that goes nowhere. Edge grabs a headlock but gets sent off. Christian with a leap frog and a burrito for 2. Edge backs off a bit because he wasn’t expecting that. Edge now SMACKS Christian. Edge runs him around the ring and cuts off Christian at the pass. After a baseball slide, Christian now smacks Edge a couple times to a POP. Christian jumps to the outside for his underwhelming punch but Edge avoids with a shot. Edge baseball slides out but Christian slides back in and dropkicks Edge into the barricade. Christian with a springboard plancha to the floor. Christian goes for a Spear but Edge sidesteps and shoves Christian into the barricade. Christian just barely beats the count back at 9. Edge with a few boots and taunts and goes to a wristlock. Christian smacks his way free but runs into a shoulderblock. These guys are huffing and puffing like this is 50 minutes into a broadway. I’m not saying they are blown up, more just about how long they are selling fairly standard moves. Edge with a couple of arm wringers and goes to an armbar. Christian counters out and grabs a headlock. Edge grabs a hammerlock but Christian wants the DDT. Edge shoves him into the corner as their leisurely pace as lost them their home country. Edge avoids the rope-assisted kick in the corner by driving Christian down with a kick to the throat. Cover gets 2. King keeps selling this as two mirror images wrestling themselves which is a nice idea and there’s some counters here to reinforce that but it’s just too….. damn….. slow. Edge tries staying on the arm in the corner but Christian smacks him down and heads up top. Christian with a tornado DDT for 1, 2, 2 ½. Christian with another burrito and wants the crowd to get behind him. Edge tries to come back but eats a flapjack and a missile dropkick. Christian covers for another 2. Crowd is sort of back with them as Christian gets a clap going. They both counter for signature moves before Christian drop toe holds Edge into the ropes and NOW jumps to the floor for the underwhelming smack. Christian chokes him across the top rope. Christian heads up for the diving headbutt but whiffs when Edge moves. Edge with the Edge-o-cutioner and covers for 2. Christian with a school boy for 2 but Edge shoves him onto the ropes. Edge preps the Spear but Christian boots him down and hits a sunset flip off the second rope for 1, 2, 2.7. Edge goes back to the arm with a takedown. Edge again whiffs on the Spear and now Christian hits the Charisma Kick in the corner. Christian with a Euro uppercut off the second rope and wants the Unprettier. Edge counters by shoving him into the turnbuckle and hits the Spear for 1, 2, 3 at 12:10. Decent enough though they were clearly coasting through the first half and only shifted into even a moderate gear with a few minutes to go. I would have loved a balls to the wall, PPV match between the two once they were veterans who knew the ropes but this wasn’t it. **3/4

Fatal Four Way TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Rey Mysterio vs. Albert Del Rio vs. Edge vs. Kane (c). TLC 2010. CnPed from my original review. Tony Chimel says in order to win this match you must “gain custody” of the belt and the whole crew laughs like hell at him apparently having flashbacks to Eddie/Rey for Dominic. Kane goes directly after Edge for all of his punishment of Paul Bearer but gets sent into the stairs instead. ADR goes after Rey but Rey headscissors him into the second turnbuckle and gives him a basement dropkick in the corner. Kane and Edge both go for big boots on the floor and collide. Striker says that Edge was in the first TLC match at No Mercy 99 which isn’t even true. Edge was in that match and in the first TLC match but he’s referring to the ladder match for Terri Runnel’s managerial services. Rey slides in a ladder and starts to climb but ADR is in to shove over the ladder and Rey falls to the floor on Kane and Edge. ADT climbs but Rey recovers first and slides in with another ladder. ADR kicks him in the face and taunts. ADR tries a charge but Rey drop toe holds him into the ladder. Rey jumps onto ADR’s shoulder and ADR tries to Electric Chair Drop Rey on the ladder but he lands on it. Rey rides the ladder for a seated senton sort of on ADR. Kane in and smashes Rey into the ladder and dumps him. Edge with a Bossman attack on Kane. Edge picks up the ladder but Kane boots it back into him. Kane drops a ladder on Rey and ADR. He tries a ChokeSlam but Edge escapes and gives him the Edge-o-cutioner. Edge waffles him with a ladder. Edge gets the Tommy Dreamer Ladder and goes to set it up but stops to baseball slide a ladder into Kane. Edge sets up a table on the floor but Kane sends him into the announce table and shitcans him into the crowd. Kane tries to set up a table but it breaks early and he takes it out on Rey and ADR. Kane sets up the table anyway using the announce table as the other leg. He double goozles the smaller ones but Edge cuts him off and then they all jump him.

• After taking down Kane, Edge and Rey team up on ADR. Edge sends Kane into the ringpost and then sets up another table. Rey helps him put Kane on a ladder and now Edge tries the ladder. To get the belt you say? Silly mark, logic is for kids. Edge jumps off mid way off the ladder with a splash on Kane through the table. ADR cuts off Rey trying to take advantage with a step up enzuigiri. ADR gets a chair but Rey counters with a drop toe hold. ADR avoids the 619 but Edge is in with Spears for both. Edge starts to climb the ladder but Kane is in to push over the ladder and crotch Edge on the top rope. Rey and ADR try to dump Kane but he pulls them to the floor and sends both into the barricade. Kane gets a chair and has a few gutshots for Mysterio and ADR as the brawl goes up the aisle. Kane goes for a shot on Edge on the stage but Edge ducks. ADR with an enzuigiri and Edge with a Spear. Rey climbs up part of the stage and tries a dive on Kane but slips. I’ll give him a pass on that one because using the set is pretty convoluted especially when it’s liable to fall at any moment. Rey runs all the way back to the ring and sets up the TDL. ADR follows him and Edge is here too. Rey hits a 619 on ADR and tires another on Edge but he gets up a chair to counter. Edge starts the climb up the ladder but ADR is there and Mysterio sets up a smaller ladder next to it. Edge knocks ADR off but Rey takes his place. Edge and Rey both give each other facebusters off the top of the ladder. Ricardo tries to climb the ladder but Kane is in and he ChokeSlams RR off the ladder. He gives another to ADR and then ChokeSlams Edge off the apron through a table. Rey knocks over the ladders to prevent Kane from climbing and then clips the knee and sends Kane into a chair and then hits the 619. Mysterio with a Sabu chairshot on him as well. He sets up the TDL and starts to climb. ADR follows behind him and pulls Rey down and hooks him in the armbar. ADR cranks the hold for a while and finally starts to climb but Rey no sells and shoves the ladder over and ADR eats it to the floor through a couple of tables. Rey starts to climb but Kane is in. Rey tries an Asai moonsault but because Kane has been brushing up on his Ultimo Dragon, he catches him and hits a Tombstone. Obvious, but awesome spot. Kane starts to climb but Edge waffles him in the back with a chair a few times. Edge Spears Kane off the apron through a table. Edge climbs up and pulls down the belt to win it at 22:43. What this match lacks in the psychology of Sheamus/Morrison, it makes up for in drama. Somewhat unfairly for Sheamus and Morrison, it’s an organizational necessity that more people = more drama if it’s executed properly and this was. The match really starts clicking once they brawl up the ramp and then race back down and all of the set up tables are finally used in ways that I didn’t entirely see coming. ***3/4

Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship: Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Wade Barrett vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Mystery Opponent vs. Edge (c). Elimination Chamber 2011. CnPed from my original review. Pre-match, we get another obscenely awesome video package. Seriously. It’s even better than the one to open the PPV. Booker T says this match scared the hell outta him when he did it the first time. McIntyre punches a couple of the pods for some reason and then taunts Kane. Kane thinks it’s funny and McIntyre tells him to laugh it up, fuzzball. Cole says Barrett is “one of his favorites” to win the match. 1 in 6? How many favorites do you get? Teddy comes out to say he fired Ziggler and Showster will replace him. Show goes over to Wade to gloat and Wade does a great mime joke.

• Edge and Mysterio to start. Edge with rights in the corner but Rey comes back with the Tajiri kicks. Mysterio with up and over but Edge gets the flapjack for a 2 count. Edge boots away in the corner. They trade whip reversals. Rey tries up and over again but Edge catches him. Rey gets the headscissors to counter again. Rey gets a head of steam but gets backdropped to the grate on the outside. Edge goes up top but Rey recovers to crotch him and Drew indiscriminately punches the pod glass. Rey hits a frankensteiner off the top for 2. They fight to the outside and Edge sends Rey into the cage a few times. Edge then sends him face first into the Kane’s pod. Edge sends him across but Rey drop toe holds him into the second rope as Wade Barrett is next at about 4 minutes. He boots down Rey. Edge cuts him off with right hands. Rey comes charging in and Edge launches him over the top into Barrett for the seated senton. Edge then tosses Mysterio baseball slide style into the grate and cage. Wade hits the Bossman slam on Edge for 2. Wade with a pump handle slam for 2 on Mysterio. Wade sends Rey into the turnbuckle and he does the Bret Hart bump. Cole talks over the entire announce team to put over the new Smackdown wrestlers as “the new breed.” That didn’t work with WWECW and won’t work now. Wade charges toward Edge but he lowers the bridge and shitcans Barrett. Mysterio with a dropkick on Edge and heads up top but Wade cuts him off. Wade gets Rey in the fireman’s carry for Wasteland. He rams Mysterio’s legs into Edge but then Rey grabs hold of the cage to escape. Wade tries to powerbomb him but Rey headscissors him back in. He goes for the 619 but runs into a big boot from Edge. Second time already they’ve used that counter Cole: “Talk about a dropped call! This is no cal not SoCal tonight!”

• Kane is next and punches down everyone. Kane with a basement dropkick on Wade for 2. Kane whips Edge onto Wade and then hits a Ho Train on both. He hits another on Rey and hits a sideslam on Wade. He goes for the cover but Rey breaks it up with a standing enzuigiri. Wade and Edge give him a couple of Batista kicks for more 2 counts. Edge, Rey, and Wade take each other down with clotheslines and do the KO spot. Kane clotheslines Edge to the outside. Kane and Wade brawl for a bit and Kane sends him into the cage. Rey gives Kane a headbutt and goes up top but gets uppercutted off the top into a Tree of Woe. Edge gives him the basement dropkick TOTHESKULLOFREYMYSTERIO for 2. Kane clotheslines Wade over the top to the grate as Drew is next. He goes straight for Mysterio and gives him the Kevin Nash Lawn Dart toss into the pod. Wade and Drew team up on Kane and both send him into the cage. They agree to team up until Drew low blows him and then whips him hard into the pod plexiglass to tear it down. I like this fiery intense Drew. Drew mounts Edge and hits the GnP. Drew taunts to Edge that he’ll end his career tonight in here. Drew with the snap suplex for 2. Drew goes for the double arm DDT but Edge counters to the Edge-o-cutioner. Edge goes for the Spear but Kane goozles him. Edge escapes and Rey drop toe holds him to set up the 619. Kane ducks it and brings the pain with a clothesline on Rey. Kane tosses Rey into the ringpost. Drew goes for the double arm DDT again on Kane but gets backdropped onto Wade. Kane and Edge take each other out with big boots. No pinfalls but outstanding back and forth action. Showster is out next. He’s got clotheslines and shitcans for all. Wade tries to keep his distance but Show goozles him and powers him through the pod door. Wade tries to climb and Show overhand chops him like 20 times and sends him into the cage. Show gives Wade the KO and he’s gone at 18:50.

• Kane hits the flying clothesline on Show, Edge hits a Macho elbow but Show kicks out at 2. Drew jumps on him and gives him the double arm DDT but Show stills kicks out at 2. Rey is on top of one of the pods. He comes flying off with the seated senton but Show still kicks out at 2. I would have beat he was done there. Kane gives him a Batista kick. Rey hits the 619 and Edge hits the Spear all on Show. Kane clears house to ChokeSlam Show and he’s gone at 20:53. Drew jumps off top for whatever but Kane catches him in the goozle and ChokeSlams him and Drew is gone at 21:08. Weak elimination for Drew. Mysterio and Edge do the same thing but escape the goozle only to be taken down with a double clothesline. Kane picks up Rey for a Bulldog powerslam but gets countered to a DDT for 2. Rey drops the dime for 2. Rey goes for a springboard whatever. Kane catches him but Rey headscissors out to set up the 619. Rey hits it and goes for the seated senton but Kane catches him. Edge Spears both down and pins Kane and he’s gone at 22:49.

• Kane’s pissed and ChokeSlams both to get his heat back before leaving to mild boos, more due to his poor sportsmanship than anger that he was eliminated. They both sell the impact for a while. Edge recovers and goes for the Spear but gets rolled up for a close 2 count. Mysterio ducks a clothesline and hits a sprinboard crossbody for a 2 count. Mysterio hits the wheelbarrow bulldog for 2. Mysterio goes up top but Edge meets him. Mysterio headbuts him off and goes for the rana but Edge catches him and powerbombs to counter. Cover gets 2. Edge tries another but Rey headscissors him into the ropes. He goes for the 619 but Edge catches him and hooks in the inverted sharpshooter. Mysterio counters with a roll up for 2. Edge preps the Spear again. Rey ducks and Edge eats turnbuckle. Rey gets a head of steam but Edge rebounds back into the Spear. Cover gets 2 and everyone thought that was the finish. Mysterio tries the 619 again and finally hits it. He also hits the springboard splash but Edge kicks out at 2. Mysterio hits one more 619 and goes up top but dives off into a Spear from Edge and that’s enough to retain at 31:29. As usual great chemistry and heat for the finish sequence between these two. I would have liked Drew to eliminate Kane rather than vice versa but that’s a small quibble. The booking coming in (Drew’s beef with Edge, Show and Wade’s beef with each other, etc.) helped each segment and participant have a purpose. Also, these two went the distance like Batista-UT but this one > that one due to better talent. ****1/4

• Post-match, ADR comes out to jump Edge. He applies the armbar and the refs are trying to pull him off. But CHRISTIAN HAS COME OUT! He tackles ADR and hits the GnP to a big pop. Christian gets the returning face beatdown and the Unprettier until the refs finally break it up.

World Heavyweight Championship: Albert Del Rio vs. Edge (c). Wrestlemania XXVII. As I’m not entirely satisfied with my old review of this match, I’m giving it a fresh one. Matthews tries putting over ADR’s RR victory but man that seems a thousand years ago and it didn’t really cement him the way winning the rumble should. That’s like a first-line kayfabe obit achievement and no one even cares. Winning the WWE belt twice didn’t cement him either. That sounds like quite the year on paper but it never gelled the right way. Sheamus is currently in the same boat, and let me take 1000 words to tell you all about it–HEY LOOK! IT’S THE FUNKASAURUS! Sadly no Funkettes or Funkadactyls or whatever they are calling them. Edge has Christian in his corner and has a large bandage on his left arm.

• Lock up takes them into the corner. ADR shoves rather than give a clean break so Edge smacks the TASTE OF DESTINY out of his mouth. Edge with a few right hands and a backdrop to get going. ADR kicks the bad arm and boots Edge down in the corner. Edge avoids a clothesline and backdrops ADR to the floor. Edge tries a baseball slide but ADR slides out of the way and throws him into the barricade bad arm first. ADR then throws the arm into the ringstairs. Back in, Cover gets 2. ADR goes to the resthold as we’ve apparently decided to slow things down about 15 minutes into Mania. It IS a four hour PPV after all. Edge tries escaping but ADR pulls him down by the hair and wraps the injured arm around the ropes. ADR smashes the arm across the announce table and back in covers for 2. BACKTOTHERESTHOLD! ADR tries a Bossman attack but Edge sidesteps and ADR eats it to the floor. Edge follows out with an assisted flip splash. Back in, Edge heads up top but ADR armdrags him off for 2. Always like that spot. ADR with the GnP and talks smack to the crowd. Edge comes back with a spinwheel kick. Double KO at 5 minutes in. Edge with a big boot and again sells it like he’s blown up. Not his arm, just general fatigue. Edge now with a burrito, clothesline and flapjack and covers for 2. Edge tries the Edge-o-cutioner but ADR counters with the armbreaker. Slick. He wants the flying armbar but Edge counters with the Edge-o-matic for 2. More exaggerated laying around. They do a VERY slow blind charge reversal into a school boy for Edge. ADR is all “It is my destiny, but you already know that!” and rolls through into the armbar! Edge gets the ropes. ADR goes in for the kill and Edge Stun Guns him and heads up top. ADR comes back with the pop up enzuigiri! ADR covers but Edge’s foot is on the ropes. Ricardo moves it before the ref sees it(!) and the cover gets 1, 2, 2.7. That’s all Christian needed for this to erupt into a donnybrook. Christian with some rights on Funk but he no sells and gives Christian a GARGOYLE SUPLEX! Edge tries to sneak one with a school boy for 1, 2, 2.9. Edge with the Edge-o-cutioner but is too out of it to cover. He slowly recovers and tunes up the band…er… mans the battle stations for the Spear. He runs but ADR moves. That allows Brodus to waffle Edge’s arm into the ringpost! ARMBAR! ADR LOCKS IT IN! Edge fights it and stacks ADR up for a close 2 count. Edge counters to the half Sharpshooter. Funker tries helping ADR reach the ropes but Christian gives him a tornado DDT off the apron. ADR manages to escape out by grabbing the injured arm! Edge counters back into the SPEAR. Cover gets 1, 2, 3 to retain at 11:09. I still think there’s entirely too much laying around for a ten minute match, but hell, Edge is in there suffering from a shoot career-ending neck injury so you get some slack for taking your time in your last ever match. Also, I’ve kind of gotten over ADR not winning the belt here since I’m convinced they botched his push before this match by not really giving him anything to do for like six months after winning the RR. Interference worked as did the counters. I’m fine with this. ***

The 411: Another respectable series of matches for Edge. I'll just throw out a few more ways they could have went with matches on the DVD. I was all ready to say they should have put the entire UT-Edge feud from 2008 on here but that's all pretty much on the last Edge DVD. They obviously could have included some of Edge's matches with Jeff Hardy. Maybe the 09 RR title defense. There's also room for some of his matches with Jericho from 2010, but I'm most disappointed not to see the outstanding Last Man Standing match between Edge and Cena at Backlash 2009.
