CM Punk proves why he is the Best in the World.

Key Points:
-CM Punk is fresh off his infamous pipe bomb promo and looks to take the WWE Championship out of the company when his contract expires at midnight.
-Christian gets his third chance at Randy Orton’s World Heavyweight Championship after believing he has been screwed by management and referees.
-Mark Henry is tearing through the WWE, welcoming everyone to his Hall of Pain.
-16 men look to win one of the two Money in the Bank ladder matches and earn a guaranteed title shot.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match- Sin Cara vs. Wade Barrett vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Heath Slater vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane
Everyone brawls to start and Sheamus, Barrett, and Kane clear the ring. Double clothesline by Kane and he clotheslines both to the floor. Bryan baseball slides a ladder into Kane and Slater and Gabriel do the same to Bryan. They ram a ladder into Cara and Gabriel is the first to climb. Bryan knocks him off with a missile dropkick. Rhodes sends Bryan face first into the ladder and he climbs but Sheamus takes him down. Disaster Kick by Rhodes to Slater and he eats a clothesline from Sheamus. Kane dumps Rhodes and Sheamus to the floor and Barrett goes after him. Kane sends Barrett into a ladder and he hits a sidewalk slam on Slater. Kane goes up but Cara knocks him down with an enzuiguri. Bryan with a suicide dive to Barrett and Gabriel hits a summersault plancha onto Kane. Slingshot corkscrew pescado by Slater to Rhodes and Cara hits a crossbody off the top to the floor onto Sheamus!!!! Back in, Cara hits a springboard crossbody to Bryan. Gabriel presses Cara into a dropkick on Slater. Springboard back elbow by Cara and a hurricanrana sends Gabriel to the floor. Bryan goes up but Cara follows and hits Spanish Fly!!!!! Big pop for Sin Cara. Cara goes for a ladder but Barrett catches him with a big boot. Barrett places a ladder between the apron and the announce table and charges at Cara but misses and hits the post shoulder first. Back in, Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick and then POWERBOMBS CARA OFF THE APRON THROUGH THE LADDER!!!!!!! Officials come out to check on Cara as Sheamus hits the Corre with a ladder. Back in, Kane hammers away on Sheamus but then eats an attack from Rhodes and Bryan. Rhodes and Bryan slug it out but Kane breaks it up with a ladder. Kane climbs but is stopped by the Corre. Rhodes climbs but the Corre stops him as well. They do the same to Bryan and Barrett tells Slater and Gabriel to let him climb. He climbs but Slater and Gabriel stop him and hammer away. Slater and Gabriel climb but Rhodes shoves the ladder over sending Gabriel crashing to the mat. He hits Cross Rhodes on Slater and starts to climb. Barrett pulls him down so Rhodes hits Cross Rhodes on him. Sheamus stops Rhodes from climbing and hits the Irish Curse. Sheamus climbs but Bryan stops him. Sheamus puts Bryan in position for Kane to hit the Doomsday Device!!!!! L.O.D chant breaks out. Sheamus puts a ladder between the turnbuckle and another ladder. He looks for Irish Curse but Kane blocks and hits a big boot. Chokeslams to Rhodes and Gabriel and Kane starts to climb. Bryan stops him and catches Kane with a DDT. Slater climbs but Bryan follows so Slater takes him down with a neckbreaker. Slater climbs again but Barrett pulls him off. Slater goes up but Barrett crotches him. Sheamus and Barrett use a ladder to DUMP SLATER TO THE FLOOR ONTO KANE!!!!! Brogue Kick into the ladder onto Barrett. Brogue Kick to Rhodes and he hits a sledgehammer to Gabriel. Sheamus places a ladder on the top turnbuckle and he snake eyes Gabriel onto that ladder. Brogue Kick to Gabriel and Sheamus climbs. Kane follows and he CHOKESLAMS SHEAMUS ONTO ANOTHER LADDER!!!!! Kane climbs but Rhodes, Barrett, and Bryan stop him. Disaster Kick off the ladder by Rhodes and Barrett hits Wasteland. Gabriel goes up and hits the 450 SPLASH OFF THE LADDER PLACED IN THE CORNER!!!!!! Barrett hits WASTELAND TO THE FLOOR ON GABRIEL ONTO SLATER!!!! Black Hole Slam to Bryan and he hits a Pumphandle Slam to Rhodes. Barrett climbs but Rhodes stops him. He clotheslines Barrett to the floor and Bryan climbs. Rhodes follows as does Barrett. Bryan grabs the Guillotine Choke on Rhodes and knocks him off the ladder. Barrett looks to hit Wasteland off the ladder but Bryan fires back with rapid elbows. A kick to the head knocks Barrett off the ladder and Bryan grabs the briefcase!!!!
Winner and Smackdown Mr. Money in the Bank- Daniel Bryan ****1/4 ( Incredible ladder match. They got 30 minutes to build drama and put on a spectacular contest. This is up there with one of the best Money in the Bank ladder matches ever. Also a great moment of redemption for Daniel Bryan, going from fired from the company to having a chance to become champion one year later. )

WWE Diva’s Title- Kelly Kelly © w/Eve Torres vs. Brie Bella w/Nicki Bella
Thesz press by Kelly to start and she hits a tilt-a-whirl headscissors forcing Brie to bail. Brie goes to Nicki for comfort allowing Kelly to hit a double clothesline off the apron. Kelly with a headscissors from the ropes but Brie escapes sending Kelly face first to the floor!!!! That had to suck. Back in, Brie gets 2. Bodyscissors by Brie but Kelly fights out. Brie snaps Kelly’s ribs off the ropes and then takes her down by the hair for 2. Rear abdominal stretch by Brie but Kelly breaks with a jawbreaker. Clothesline by Kelly and she hits a neckbreaker for 2. Brie counters the Fameasser attempt but Kelly comes right back with a weak bulldog for 2. Brie snaps Kelly’s leg off the mat for 2. Fameasser by Kelly gets 3.
Winner and Still Diva’s Champion- Kelly Kelly *3/4 ( With the exception of one nice bump from Kelly, it's every WWE Diva's match that they have on every PPV. No heat, mediocre wrestling, and just bland overall. )

Mark Henry vs. Big Show
Henry hammers away to start but Show fires back with chops. Shoulder tackle by Show and Henry bails. Show follows out and clotheslines Henry on the floor. He goes for a Chokeslam but Henry blocks so Show shoves Henry into the steps. Henry dropkicks the steps into the knee of Show to come back and back in, Henry chop blocks the bad leg. Henry gets some boots to the face for 2 and he slams the knee of Show’s off the mat. Half crab by Henry but Show makes the ropes to break. Henry tries to go after the leg again but Show kicks him away. Corner clothesline by Henry and he charges again but eats boot. Show hits a shoulderblock off the second rope and goes for the Chokeslam. Henry kicks the knee to block and hits the World’s Strongest Slam for 2!!! A second World’s Strongest Slam and he follows it up with two big splashes for 3.
Winner- Mark Henry **1/4 (This did it's job of establishing Mark Henry as an unstoppable monster. He DESTROYED Big Show and looked like a killer. For the first time in his career, Henry looks like a major player. This also started one of the most underrated feuds of 2011 in my opinion. )

After the match, Henry puts a chair onto the bad leg of Show and he VADER BOMBS THE CHAIR!!!!! Show is screaming in pain as officials come out to check on him. They have to bring out a medical cart to carry Big Show to the back.

Mr. McMahon says that he was unable to resign CM Punk and calls him an ingrate. He says he did all that he could to keep Punk and Punk kicked him out of his locker room after he tried to negotiate. Vince blames John Cena for this mess and promises hell for Cena if he loses tonight.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match- Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne vs. R-Truth vs. Alex Riley vs. The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio
Everyone brings a ladder into the ring to start and they go right after Del Rio, sending him to the floor. They dump a bunch of ladder onto Del Rio on the floor and Miz slides Rey onto the pile of ladders on the floor. Riley backdrops Swagger to the floor and he hits him with a ladder knocking him off the apron. Miz and Truth get into a ladder war and Swagger breaks it up with a clothesline using a ladder. Kofi and Bourne climb but they use the ladder as a battery ram on Swagger and Truth. Rey springboards off a ladder and hurricanranas Swagger to the floor!!! Riley atomic drops Truth onto a ladder and follows it up with a Sick Kick. Riley climbs but Miz follows. Miz takes him down so Riley hits him in the face with a ladder. Riley cannonball dives onto Miz and Swagger on the floor!!! Summersault plancha to the floor by Truth!!!! Rey and Kofi go up and hit dueling crossbodys to the floor!!!! Bourne climbs a ladder and HITS A SHOOTING STAR PRESS ONTO EVERYONE ON THE FLOOR!!!!!!! Back in, Bourne climbs but Miz follows. Del Rio tips the ladder over, sending Bourne and Miz crashing to the mat. Miz landed awkwardly on his right leg and officials come out to check on him. Del Rio climbs but Truth pulls him down. Miz is helped to the back as Truth climbs. Del Rio follows as does Rey and Bourne. Del Rio and Truth pull Bourne and Rey off into hurricanranas sending them to the floor!!! Swagger cleans house and Kofi springboards onto the ladder. Swagger catches Kofi in the ankle lock to bring him down as Riley now climbs. Swagger follows and Truth tips the ladder over sending them crashing down. Truth places a ladder in the corner and he dropkicks the ladder into the midsection of Mysterio. Truth goes onto the ladder but Rey pushes him off sending him face first into the ladder. Kofi goes up and SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE LADDER WITH THE BOOM DROP!!!! Del Rio charges at Kofi but misses and goes FLYING to the floor!!! 619 using the ladder by Rey on Kofi!!!! Truth botches an attempt to drive a ladder into Swagger’s face but succeeds on the second attempt. 619 by Rey to Truth and he climbs along with Riley. Bourne climbs as well but Riley shoves him down. Rey and Riley fight on top of the ladder allowing everyone to climb. Everyone slugs it out on top of the ladder and Del Rio is shoved off the ladder face first onto another ladder!!!! Bourne is shoved all the way to the floor!!! Riley is the next to crash all the way to the mat. Truth gets knocked off and Kofi kicks Mysterio off!! Kofi has the briefcase but Swagger stops him. The ladder tips over sending Kofi and Swagger to the mat. Miz makes his way out on one leg!!!! Miz climbs but Mysterio slams his leg off the ladder to stop him. Sunset flip powerbomb takes Miz off the ladder and Mysterio climbs to huge heat. Del Rio stops him to a big pop and he follows. Mysterio hits Del Rio with the briefcase a few times but Del Rio TAKES OFF REY’S MASK. He tries to shove Rey off but he lands on another ladder with falls onto the ladder Del Rio was on. Del Rio regroups and quickly climbs back up. Del Rio has the briefcase!!!!
Winner and RAW Mr. Money in the Bank- Alberto Del Rio ***3/4 (Crazy match, although much sloppier than the ladder match from earlier. Tons of WOW moments through but the lack of selling (outside of Miz) and botches kept this from being as great as the Smackdown match. )

Alberto Del Rio says he proved that he was the best and his destiny is to become the WWE Champion.

World Heavyweight Title- Randy Orton © vs. Christian
If Orton is DQ’ed, he loses the championship. Christian brings a chair into the ring and gives it to Orton who throws it away. Orton hammers away to start and he hits a backdrop. Kneedrop by Orton and he hits a clothesline. Christian pulls Orton to the floor and goes for a slingshot pescado but Orton moves. Orton sends Christian into the steel steps and back in, Christian snaps Orton’s back off the ropes. Christian hits a second rope uppercut for 2. Christian stomps away and hits a back elbow for 2. Christian steps on the back of Orton and follows it up with another uppercut for 2. Orton catches Christian with a roll-up for 2 and Christian comes back with a spinebuster for 2. Christian goes for the Killswitch but Orton blocks and he clotheslines Christian along with himself to the floor. Back in, Orton goes for the RKO but Chrisitan blocks. Orton charges in the corner but eats boot. Christian goes for a second rope dropkick but Orton catches him with a jackknife roll-up for 2. Thesz press by Orton and he goes for the hanging DDT but Christian blocks. Christian looks for a springboard crossbody but Orton catches him with a dropkick for 2. Christian goes up but Orton stops him and follows up. He looks for the superplex but Christian shoves him off. Diving headbutt off the top by Christian gets 2!!! Clotheslines by Orton and he goes for the RKO but Christian counters into the Killswitch for 2!!!! Christian goes for the Spear but Orton leap frogs over him which causes Christian to hit the turnbuckle. Gutwrench neckbreaker by Orton gets 2!!! Powerslam by Orton and he hits the hanging DDT. Christian bets off and then spits in the face of Orton!!! Orton hammers away on Christian and he GOES LOW ON CHRISTIAN!!!!! The ref calls for the bell, Orton is DQ’ed!!!!
Winner by DQ and NEW World Heavyweight Champion- Christian ***1/2 ( Loved the mind games Christian played with Orton to try and draw the DQ. I'm OK with the finish, it was more about Christian's obsession with being the champion than beating Orton straight up, so it made sense from that standpoint. It was the standard really good match these two have together. )

After the ref hands Christian the belt, Orton goes after him on the floor and takes apart the announce table. Orton hits Christian with a monitor and then hits an RKO on the announce table which doesn’t break. Orton is flipping out at ringside and he decides to hit another RKO on the announce table which still doesn’t break!!!! Christian has to be carried to the back.

WWE Title- John Cena © vs. CM Punk
The pop CM Punk gets for his entrance is one of the biggest I’ve ever heard. Cena doesn’t come doing his usual poses, he just walks straight to the ring ready for business. Punk goes to the floor to get the embrace of Colt Cabana and Ace Steel who are sitting front row. Both men try to gain the upper hand to start and Punk backs Cena to the ropes to break it up. “You Can’t Wrestle” chant and Punk asks if it was at him in a funny moment. Cena takes Punk down and begins to work the arm of Punk, locking in an arm bar. Punk sends Cena off the ropes and Cena catches Punk with a shoulderblock. Side headlock by Cena but Punk escapes and hits a hiptoss. Dropkick by Punk and he grabs a side headlock of his own. Cena escapes and they both look to land their finishers but both escape leading to another standstill. Punk throws some kicks at Cena and he stomps away in the corner. Punk is reversed to the corner and Cena catches him with a bulldog for 2. Front facelock by Cena but Punk escapes so Cena KILLS him with a clothesline for 2. Cena goes to the chinlock but Punk breaks with a back suplex for 2. Punk sends Cena into the corner sternum first for 2. Whip to the corner and Cena catches Punk with a release Fisherman’s suplex for 2. Cena goes for the AA but Punk escapes and hits a DDT for 2. Headscissors by Punk but Cena tries to break with an electric chair. Punk escapes and he dumps Cena to the floor. Punk puts Cena on the apron and hits a second rope kneedrop onto the apron onto Cena. Back in, Punk gets 2. Whip to the corner and Punk charges but misses and hits the post shoulder first. Cena goes for the STF but Punk kicks him away and hits a clothesline for 2. Punk now goes to the chinlock but Cena fights out. Whip to the corner and Cena charges but eats boot. Springboard crossbody is botched a bit by Punk but he still covers for 2. Cena goes to the apron to regroup and Punk looks to suplex him back him but Cena blocks and SUPLEXES PUNK TO THE FLOOR!!!! Ouch. Back in, Cena covers for 2. Suplex by Cena and he follows up with an elbow drop for 2. Front powerslam by Cena gets 2. Cena hammers away but Punk fights back so Cena grabs an abdominal stretch. Punk hiptosses Cena and he follows up for a double clothesline. Punk rolls Cena up for 2 and he sends Cena to the corner. Punk goes for the corner kneestrike but Cena moves and hits the Proto Bomb. Cena goes to do the You Can’t See Me pose but Punk kicks him in the head!!! Knee to the back sends Cena to the floor and Punk follows up with a suicide dive!!!! Back in, Punk goes for a springboard clothesline but Cena moves. Five Knuckle Shuffle by Cena and he goes for the AA but Punk landed on his feet and sweeps the legs of Cena for 2. Punk goes for the GTS but Cena escapes and hits the gutwrench suplex for 2. Cena goes for the AA but Punk escapes and two kneestrikes to the face. Bulldog by Punk and he hits the springboard clothesline for 2. Kicks to the chest by Punk and Cena catches him with the STF!!!! Punk fights his way to the ropes to break!!! Kick to the head by Punk gets 2. Punk goes up and he goes for a crossbody off the top but Cena rolls through. He goes for the AA but Punk escapes and goes for the GTS but Cena escapes back into the STF!!!! What an exchange!!! Cena pulls Punk to the middle of the ring!!!! Punk rolls through into the Anaconda Vice!!!! Crowd chants “Tap” as Cena fights to his feet. He catches Punk with the Attitude Adjustment for 2!!!! Cena goes up for the guillotine legdrop but Punk catches him in a sit-out powerbomb on the way down for 2!!! Punk goes for the GTS but Cena escapes and snaps Punk’s neck off the ropes. Cena goes back up and this time connects with the guillotine legdrop for 2!!!! Attitude Adjustment by Cena gets 2!!!!! Cena puts Punk on top and follows up. He goes for a Super AA but Punk elbows away on Cena to escape. Punk hits the Frankensteiner off the top and he hits a corner kneestrike. GTS by Punk and Cena falls to the floor, not allowing Punk to cover!!! Punk rolls Cena back in as Mr. McMahon and John Laurinaitis come out. Punk enters the ring and Cena grabs the STF!!! Vince tells Laurinaitis to go ring the bell but Cena clocks him!!!! Cena tells Vince he will win this straight up and he enters the ring where Punk hits the GTS for 3!!!!!! The crowd explodes!!!!!
Winner and NEW WWE Champion- CM Punk ***** ( This match had one of the best atmosphere's I have ever heard for a WWE Title Match. These two put on a clinic, it was everything that we love about professional wrestling. Great wrestling, awesome exchanges, great facial expression, awesome drama, it had everything. This deserves a perfect rating, it was a masterpiece. )

After the match, Vince McMahon grabs Jerry Lawler’s headset and he orders Alberto Del Rio to come out and cash in the briefcase!!!! Del Rio comes out and Punk catches him with a kick to the head. Punk has an evil smirk on his face as he leaves through the crowd, blowing Vince a kiss as he leaves!!!!!

The 411: One of the best PPVs WWE has ever put on. The Chicago crowd lit a fire under everyone's ass, all the matches barring the women's match were exciting and served some kind of purpose. It was the coming out party for CM Punk, so the main event alone gives this a thumbs up but the entire great card puts this in must watch territory. Absolutely outstanding show.
