Jeff Hardy looks for his ultimate redemption while James Storm and Bobby Roode try to destroy each other.

Key Points:
-After winning the Bound for Glory Series and a year of redeeming himself, Jeff Hardy gets his chance at the TNA World Heavyweight Title against Austin Aries.
-Sting and Bully Ray form an unlikely alliance to try and rid TNA of Aces & Eights once and for all.
-After one year, Bobby Roode and James Storm look to settle their rivalry in a Street Fight.
-Joey Ryan finally gets a chance at a TNA contract against Al Snow.
-After turning on her pupil, Tara looks to take the TNA Knockouts Championship from Miss Tessmacher.

TNA X-Division Championship- Zema Ion © vs. Rob Van Dam
Crowd hot for RVD to start. RVD takes Ion down by the hair to start and follows up with a springboard kick sending Ion bailing to the floor. Back in, Ion dropkicks RVD and hits a springboard spinning front kick for 2. Ion mocks RVD so RVD crotches him in the ropes and hits a kick off the top kncking Ion back to the floor. Back in, Ion catches RVD with a spinning DDT for 2. Whip to the corner and Ion charges but eats elbow. RVD goes up but Ion shoves off the top sending RVD into the railings. Summersault plancha to the floor by Ion!!! Back in, Ion covers for 2. Ion chokes RVD in the ropes but gets reversed to the corner. Ion blocks the monkey flip attempt with snake eyes and he hits a missile dropkick for 2. Abdominal stretch by Ion but RVD escapes and they slug it out. RVD presses Ion into a dropkick and he follows up with Rolling Thunder. RVD goes up and hits the Five Star Frog Splash for 3!!!!
Winner and NEW X-Division Champion- Rob Van Dam **1/4 ( These two were not on the same page, as there were some awkward and clunky moments throughout the match. However, the crowd was hot for it and loved seeing RVD win the belt so it did its job as the opening match. )

Magnus says Samoa Joe can’t hide behind the front office anymore andsays he will suffer the most embarrassing loss of his career.

Both men look to gain the upper hand to start and we reach a standstill. Whip to the corner and Jope hits a corner back elbow into an enzuiguiri. Jabs in the corner by Joe but Magnus pokes him in the eye to come back. Clothesline by Magnus and he hits some knees to the gut in the corner. Kneestrike by Magnus and he chokes Joe in the ropes. Back elbow to the back by Magnus gets 2. Uppercuts by Magnus but Joe slaps away to try to mount a comeback. Magnus catches Joe with the Michinoku Driver for 2. Magnus is reversed to the corner and Joe charges but eats boot. Magnus leaps off the second rope but Joe catches him with a reverse atomic drop. Flying kick into the back senton by Joe gets 2. Powerslam by Joe gets 2. Joe catches Magnus with a powerbomb for 2 and immediately coverts it to the STF. Magnus tries to fight to the ropes so Joe locks both arms up. Magnus uses his leg to make the ropes instead!!! Joe looks for the Muscle Buster but Magnus rakes the eyes to block. Joe goes up with him but Magnus catches him with a kneelift to take Joe off. Elbow drop off the top by Magnus gets 2!!! Forearms by Magnus have no effect so Joe hits some jabs. Coquina Clutch by Joe but Magnus bounces off the corner and rolls Joe up for 2. Joe catches Magnus in the Coquina Clutch again but Magnus breaks with a jawbreaker and then chop blocks Joe. Magnus goes for the Figure-4 but Joe catches him in the Coquina Clutch. Magnus taps!!!
Winner and Still TNA TV Champion- Samoa Joe *** ( Match picked up well towards the end and it was nice seeing Samoa Joe just having fun. Magnus also looked great and he comes across as a star in the making. More matches against guys like Joe will do nothing but good for him in the long run. )

Bobby Roode says the hatred between him and James Storm goes beyond the past year. He says King Mo won’t get in the way of ending Storm’s career and then brings up the fact Storm has not beaten him one on one. He promises to send Storm home for good.

Street Fight- Bobby Roode vs. James Storm
King Mo is the special enforcer. Slugfest to start is won by Storm. Storm is sent to the corner but comes right back out with a clothesline. Whip to the corner and Storm follows up with a backdrop. Storm pulls Roode onto the apron and hits a kneelift. They brawl on the floor and each competitor comes face to face with King Mo. Storm is reversed to the railing but he catches Roode with a side Russian leg sweep into the railings to come back. Storm looks for Eye of the Storm but Roode escapes. He catapults Storm into the ring post and Storm is busted open. Roode hits Storm in the gut and back with a chair and then rolls him back into the ring. Roode places a chair in the corner allowing Storm to hit Roode in the back with a kendo stick. Storm places a trash can against Roode’s groin and he hits the can with the kendo stick!!!! Storm charges with a trash can lid but Roode dumps him to the entrance ramp to block. Roode goes to hit Storm with a trash can but Storm blocks and hits a hanging DDT onto the entrance ramp. Storm and Roode take turns hitting each other with trash can lids, with Storm winning that battle!!! Storm hits Roode with a trash can and he charges but Roode spinebusters Storm onto the ramp. They head onto the announce table and Roode spears Storm off through another nearby table!!!! Back in, Roode gets 2. Roode goes after the ref so King Mo comes in to pull Roode off. Roode shoves Mo so Mo shoves him into the Codebreaker from Storm. Last Call by Storm gets 2!!!! Roode blocks another Last Call and he sends Storm into the chair in the corner head first!!! Roll-up by Roode gets 2. Roode puts Storm on top and hits him in the back with a chair. Roode has a bag and THE THUMBTACKS ARE BACK!!!!! Roode goes up and goes for the Superplex but Storm blocks. Storm SHOVES ROODE OFF THE TOP INTO THE THUMBTACKS!!!!!!! Storm hits the flying elbow drop off the top INTO THE TACKS for 21!!! Roode goes low and grabs a case of beer. He grabs a beer bottle and goes to hit Storm but Storm goes low to block. Storm hits Roode with the beer bottle and hits Last Call knocking Roode BACK INTO THE TACKS FOR 3!!!!!
Winner- James Storm ****1/4 ( What a brutal, barbaric fight. They went no nonsense and just beat the crap out of each other. You could feel the hatred and everything in the match was done with a purpose instead of for the sake of doing brutal spots. Loved all the callbacks to earlier parts of their feud as well. Just an amazing blow off, this should have done so much more for James Storm than it did. )

Joey Ryan says he should have already had a TNA contract before he even competed on Gutcheck.Ryan claims that politics won’t save Al Snow tonight and he’s bringing sleazy back.

Joey Ryan vs. Al Snow
If Joey Ryan wins, he gets a TNA contract. Snow gets on his knees and challenges Ryan to mat wrestle him. Ryan tries to but Snow is easily able to take over forcing Ryan to go to the corner to catch a break. Snow slaps Ryan and he catches Ryan with a back elbow. Clothesline followed by a hiptoss by Snow. Elbow drop by Snow and he goes to a headlock. Ryan takes Snow down by the hair to break and he hits a suplex for 1. Ryan chokes Snow with his boot in the corner but Snow comes back with a clothesline. Backdrop by Snow and he hits rapid headbutts to Ryan. Snow Plow by Snow gets 2 as the crowd chants for Head. Snow obliges and brings out Head. Snow goes to hit Ryan with Head but the ref blocks it. Ryan shoves Snow into the ref and he dropkicks Snow to the floor. Ryan makes out with Head and goes to baseball slide Snow but lands between the ring and apron, allowing Snow to hammer away. Snow goes for Head again but Matt Morgan lays him out with the Carbon Footprint out of nowhere!!!! Back in, Ryan covers for 3. After the match, Joey Ryan shakes hands with Matt Morgan.
Winner- Joey Ryan DUD ( I hated this match. Joey Ryan showed absolutely nothing here and Al Snow looked exactly like someone who hadn't wrestled in years. No heat, no flow, and barely any action to speak of. Just awful stuff. )

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian claim everyone is green with envy of them and they promise to eat the other teams alive.

TNA Tag Team Championships- Christopher Daniels and Kazarian© vs. AJ Styles and Kurt Angle vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Hernandez
Styles and Chavo start. Chavo grabs a side headlock to start but Styles escapes into a headlock of his own. Tag to Angle and he stomps away in the corner. He chokes Chavo with his boot and he hits a slam. Blind tag by Daniels but Angle dumps him into his corner, allowing Styles to tag back in. Back suplex by Chavo and Hernandez tags in. Bearhug by Hernandez and he turns it into an overhead belly to belly suplex. Slam by Hernadez and Chavo hilos back in. Slam by Chavo and Hernandez slams Chavo on top of Styles. Big Splash by Hernandez gets 2 and Kazarian tags himself in. Dropkick by Styles and Angle tags in. Back suplex by Angle and Chavo tags himself in. He stomps away in the corner and tags Hernandez in. Over the shoulder backbreaker by Hernandez and Chavo tags in. Back senton gets 2 and Daniels tags in. Chavo dropkicks Daniels and Styles tags in. Kicks to the chest by Styles but Daniels comes back with a jawbreaker into an STO. Hurricanrana off his back by Styles and he goes for the corner forearm but misses. Kazarian clotheslines Styles from the apron and Daniels hits a slingshot elbow drop. Kazarian follows up with a slingshot legdrop for 2. Daniels hiptosses Kazarian onto Styles for 2. Rear full nelson by Kazarian but Styles breaks. Kazarian rakes the eyes and goes for a monkeyflip but Styles lands on his feet. Pele by Styles and Angle tags in. Angle cleans house and hits the Rolling German suplexes on Kazarian. Angle charges in the corner but Kazarian moves and goes up. Angle runs up and HITS A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX OFF THE TOP SENDING KAZARIAN CRASHING INTO DANIELS for 2 as Chavo saves!!! Angle hits a release German suplex to Chavo and Kazarian catches Angle with a slingshot DDT. Shoulder Tackle by Hernandez to Kazarian but Styles takes him out with a springboard forearm. STO by Daniels to Styles and he hits a slingshot moonsault to the floor onto Angle. Hernandez with a Suicide Plancha to the floor onto Daniels!!!! Kazarian HURRICANRANS HERNANDEZ OFF THE APRON NEARLY KILLING HIMSELF!!!! Good god that didn’t look good at all. DOUBLE SPRINGBOARD SUMMERSAULT DIVE TO THE FLOOR BY STYLES ONTO EVERYONE!!!!!! Back in, Chavo goes for the Three Amigos but Angle counters the third with an Angle Slam. Angle goes up but Hernandez blocks. Styles saves Angle from the Border Toss and they hit a double suplex on Hernandez. Chavo dumps Angle to the floor and Styles clotheslines Chavo. Kazarian hits the TKO on Styles and Daniels hits the BME for 2!!! Chavo goes up and hits a crossbody to the floor onto Kazarian. In the ring, Styles backdrops out of the Angel’s Wings and he hits the springboard reverse DDT. Styles goes for the Styles Clash but Daniels shoves him to the floor to block. Slingshot shoulderblock by Hernandez and he hits the Border Toss on Daniels. Frog Splash by Chavo and Hernandez covers for 3!!!
Winners and NEW TNA Tag Team Champions- Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Hernandez ***1/2 (Took awhile to get going but the finishing sequence was rocking and got the crowd back into the show. Kazarian is lucky to be alive after taking that bump. Crowd wasn't happy about Hernandez and Chavo winning but that was likely because they didn't do as many crazy spots and bumps as the other four did. Overall, a really fun match to watch. )

TNA Knockouts Championship- Miss Tessmacher © vs. Tara
Jackknife roll-up by Tessmacher gets 2 and the opening sequence is really awkward, as even the ref is all over the place and not in the right spot. Tara uses the ref as a shield which allowes her to dropkicks Tessmacher to the floor. Tara drops Tessmacher onto the ring apron and back in, Tara works her over in the corner. Tessmacher comes back with a sunset flip for 1 so Tara knocks her down. Whip to the corner and Tara charges but eats boot. Tilt-a-whirl DDT by Tessmacher and both ladies are down. Tessmacher slams Tara’s face off the mat a few times and she chops away. Clotheslines by Tessmacher and she hits a side Russian leg sweep. Tessmacher goes up and hits a hurricanrana off the top. She goes for another side Russian leg sweep but Tara blocks and puts Tessmacher on top. Tara follows up but Tessmacher shoves her off. Tessmacher goes for an Elbow Drop off the top but misses. Widow’s Peak by Tara gets 3!!!
Winner and NEW TNA Knockout Champion- Tara * ( Poor Tara tried but Miss Tessmacher and the ref, Taryn Terrell, were screwing things up left and right throughout the match. Sloppy match which makes TNA's Knockout Division look like a clone of WWE's Diva Division. Tessmacher and Terrell have alot of work to do in order to improve, this was a bad performance from them. )

After the match, Tara says she has been inspired lately by her Hollywood Boyfriend. Tara introduces Jesse from Big Brother and demands he takes his shirt off. They make out in the ring as the crowd chants, “Who are you?”

No DQ-Sting and Bully Ray vs. Aces & Eights
Both members of Aces & Eights are masked so we don’t know who they are. If Aces & Eights win, they get access to the Impact Zone, if they lose they are gone for good. They bring Joseph Park out with them and handcuff them to the railings. Sting and Ray go after them on the floor and they brawl around ringside to start. Ray hits one of the masked men with a broken piece of the table from the Street Fight earlier. Ray is sent into the steps by the masked man and Sting misses the Stinger Splash attempt and eats the railings. Back in, one of the masked men hammers away on Sting on the mat. Slam by the masked man gets 2. The other masked guy tags in and hits a short arm clothesline for 2. Corner splash by one masked man and the second one follows up with a clothesline for 2. Big boot by the masked man gets 2. Slam on Sting but the masked man misses an elbow drop. Sting locks in the Scorpion Deathlock but the other masked man breaks it up. Sting catches the masked man with the Scorpion Deathdrop and Ray tags in. He cleans house and hits a neckbreaker. Second role shoulderblock by Ray but eats a knee to the back by the other masked man. Ray catches them with a double clothesline and he hits a big splash for 2 as the other masked man saves. The masked man charges with a chair but Ray big boots him to blocks. Another masked man not in the match comes in and low blows Ray. He spits on Joseph Park so Park breaks the handcuffs and beats the hell out of that masked man. The Aces & Eights members in the match attack Ray and Sting from behind but Ray dumps one of them to the floor. Doomsday Device on one masked member and they hit the Stinger Splash on the other. Ray sets up a table in the ring and another masked man not involved in the match spinebusters Ray through the table!!! An Aces & Eights member covers Ray for 3!!!
Winners- Aces & Eights **1/4 ( Overbooked to hell and not knowing who the Aces & Eights guys were hurt fan interest in the match. Sting and Bully Ray did enough stuff to keep things interesting but this was nothing special. Probably should have been more a fight too considering this was supposed to be a war, but it is what it is. Joseph Park is awesome, BTW. )

After the match, Aces & Eights beat down Sting but here comes Hulk Hogan!!!! He cleans house on Aces & Eights and he starts to HULK UP!!!! Big boot to one of the masked men and he takes the mask off. It’s DEVON!!!!! Bully Ray is in shock as Devon laughs at them. Devon says it was always him and he says they have something to think about now. Aces & Eights retreat as Ray, Sting, and Hogan are still in shock.

Austin Aries tells Jeff Hardy that his path of redemption has to go through the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived. He says Hardy has to deal with an angry Austin Aries and says that he will still be TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship- Austin Aries © vs. Jeff Hardy
Crowd is split between both men. Headlock by Aries but Hardy escapes and slaps Aries, sending him bailing to the ramp. Back in, Hardy goes to work on Aries but Aries grabs a side headlock to stop the momentum of Hardy. Hardy goes to the headscissors to escape but Aries escapes that. He misses the basement dropkick and Hardy stomps away in the corner. Hardy goes for a headscissors but Aries blocks so Hardy tries a sunset flip but Aries rolls through that into a basement dropkick. He chokes Hardy with his boot and he hits a slingshot chop to the neck on the apron to Hardy. Aries does victory laps on the floor in an awesome moment. Hardy crotches Aries as he enters the ring and hits the Brainbuster for 2. Aries bails to the floor and Hardy follows up with a double sledge off the apron. Hardy sends Aries into the steps and Hardy hits Poetry in Motion off the steps and into the railings. Back in, Hardy covers for 2. Hardy is reversed to the corner and Aries charges but eats elbow. Hardy misses Whisper in the Wind and Aries goes up. Second rope elbow drop by Aries gets 2. Knees to the back by Aries and he hits an elbow to the back for 2. Whip to the corner and Aries charges but eats boot. Hardy goes for a second rope splash but eats knees and Aries covers for 2. Backbreaker by Aries gets 2 and he goes to the rear abdominal stretch. He turns that into a roll-up for 2. Kicks to the chest by Aries and he snapmares Hardy into a second rope dropkick to the back for 2. Aries goes for the Brainbuster but Hardy counters into the sit-out Gordbuster. Knee to the gut by Aries and he hits the slingshot corkscrew splash for 2. Aries goes for the Last Chancery but Hardy blocks. Ally-oop by Hardy and both men are down. Flying forearm by Hardy and he charges in the corner but eats boot. Aries leaps off the second rope but Hardy catches him with the reverse atomic drop. Double legdrop into the basement dropkick by Hardy gets 2. Whisper in the Wind by Hardy gets 2. Headscissors by Hardy sends Aries to the floor and Hardy hits a slingshot baseball slide. Slingshot pescado by Hardy misses and Aries hits the Heat Seeking Missile. Aries enters the ring, allowing the ref to begin to count Hardy out. He stops the ref from counting and he hits another Heat Seeking Missile!!! He rolls Hardy back in for 2. Last Chancery by Aries but Hardy gets his foot on the ropes to break. Aries dumps Hardy to the entrance ramp and he goes for the Brainbuster but Hardy escapes. He goes for the Twist of Fate but Aries blocks and he clothesline Hardy against the ropes. Hanging neckbreaker onto the entrance ramp by Aries!!!! Aries goes up and hits the missile dropkick. Aries goes for the corner dropkick but Hardy gets his foot up to block. They slug it out and Aries breaks it up with the discus forearm. Hardy catches him with the Twist of Fate for 2!!! Hardy goes up but Aries crotches him and follows up. SUPER HURRICANRANA OFF THE TOP BY ARIES!!!! Corner dropkick by Aries and he hits the Brainbuster for 2!!!! Aries puts Hardy in the tree of woe and goes for the WARRIOR’S WAY but misses!!!! Stunner by Hardy and he hits the Twist of Fate!!! Hardy goes up and hits the Swanton Bomb for 3!!!!
Winner and NEW TNA World Heavyweight Champion- Jeff Hardy **** ( Awesome match. Loved the battle between Aries' ego and Hardy's will which made for dramatic finish to the match. Aries once again proved why he is one of the best wrestlers in the business right now and Hardy looks like the Hardy of old and it's a nice moment to see him earn his redemption and trust from the company. )

The 411: Two awesome matches already make this a thumbs up. There was some crap on this show but for the most part everything was fun to watch and the show never dragged. It's great to see TNA is back to putting on good to great shows again and the future is promising again with guys like Hardy, Aries, Roode, and Storm in the main event mix. Good stuff from TNA's biggest show of the year.
