'Mr Wonderful' Paul Orndorff vs Tim Horner
Paul Orndorff's gimmick now is that he has become Mr Wonderful again after losing his confidence. An extended squash here, with Horner getting a few quick offensive spurts, but this was mostly a showcase for Mr Wonderful to demonstrate his re-found confidence. It was quite a decent little match in the process. Orndorff got the fall with the Piledriver- **

Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray and Booker T) vs Barrio Brothers (Ricky Santana and Fidel Sierra)
While the name was a play on the Mario Brothers, the Barrio Brothers were Puerto Rican, this they did not follow the Italian plumber stereotype. Anyway, I missed a little of the beginning of this match, but what I saw was pretty good. The Barrio Brothers used a lot of punches and cheated to gain any advantage they could over Harlem Heat, while Harlem Heat overpowered their opponents and used a few strikes of their own. After some miss-communication by the Barrio Brothers, Booker T got the fall after a Doomsday Missile Dropkick- **

Scott Norton vs Ray Hudson
Norton is awesome whenever he just gets to squash an opponent like this. He just completely destroyed Hudson who go no offense whatsoever. Norton put the kid out of his misery with a Powerslam- *

Diamond Dallas Page vs Joey Maggs
A fine, energetic little match that was not the total squash that you would expect. DDP kept getting distracted by Kimberly at ringside, and this caused him to make regular mistakes that almost cost him the match on several occasions. However, DDP would eventually put away Maggs with the Diamond Cutter. Surprisingly good match- **1/4
Match 5
'Nature Boy' Ric Flair vs Sgt Craig Pittman (Saturday Night)
Solid little match, and probably one of Pittman's best. Flair had the clear wrestling skill advantage, being able to outdo Pittman whenever it came to an exchange of holds, but Pittman had a lot of power so could overpower him. Flair worked over Pittman's leg for much of the match, taking advantage of any mistake Pittman made, and eventually managed to steal a win with a Small Package which Pittman could not escape from because of that bad leg- **1/4

Johnny B Badd vs Randy Starr
A fine, entertaining opener. Johnny B Badd is a great wrestler to open a show with and always entertains. Randy Starr wasn't too good though, but did his job of making Badd look good. Badd won it with the Bad Mood- *3/4

The Zodiac vs jobber
Poor, poor match, even for a squash. I dislike The Zodiac strongly, and I really don't want to be forced to watch this match ever again: this is three minutes of my life I'll never see again. He won it with a Suplex on the ropes- -*
Match 3
Barrio Brothers (Ricky Santana and Fidel Sierra) vs Larry Santo and Mike Davis
An extended squash for the Barrios, who made quick tags and worked over both of their opponents on separate occasions with strikes and basic mat wrestling, and a few double team moves. One of the jobbers actually had on of the Barrios (shows how much I can tell them apart, doesn't it) pinned, but the ref was distracted so didn't see it. However The Barrio Brothers got the win with the Doomsday Device- **

Randy Savage vs Dick Slater w/Col Parker (from Worldwide)
We join this in progress, but I don't think we missed much. Slater is in control for much of this match, with Savage getting some brief spurts of offense. After Col Parker distracts the ref, Slater removes his shoe to hit Savage, but Savage grabs it and hits Slater, then gets the Elbow for three- * (the full match would likely have been higher)
Match 5
Randy Savage vs Bunkhouse Buck w/Col Parker
This wasn't actually all that much different from the Worldwide match. Buck controlled much of it, brawling away and cheating at every opportunity, with Savage limited to brief spurts of offense. However, Slater simply could not put Savage away, and ended up allowing Savage back into it, and he got the fall with the Elbow- **
The 411: The first episode was pretty decent stuff, while the second episode wasn't too great. There was no a single bad match in the first episode, with the main event and DDP's matches being the best of the bunch, while there was an awful Zodiac squash on the other show that put a poor feeling onto the rest of the card. So I would say this level out at just below average.
