Former WWF Tag Team Champion John Hill Passes Away

John Hill, also known as Guy “The Stomper” Mitchell and “Gentleman” Jerry Valiant, passed away yesterday. He was 68.
He was a former IWA world champion in Australia in 1966, when IWA was a major player in the wrestling world. He also held the WWF tag team titles with Johnny Valiant, filling in for an ill Jimmy Valiant. Hill also wrestled as Jerry Heenan and Guy Heenan, and was Bobby Heenan’s first managerial client.
