Leila Grey Reflects On Using Her Music Stage Name As Current Ring Name

Leila Grey transferred her music stage name to her wrestling career, and she recently weighed in on the matter. Gray appeared on this week’s Hey! (EW) and during the conversation she explained why she didn’t want to change her professional name when she got into wrestling.
“For music, actually,” she said about using her ring name elsewhere (per Fightful). “Yes, because I am a singer slash kind of a rapper. But yes, Leila Grey was actually my music name, my stage name that I was using to perform under as. Then when I started wrestling, I’m like, well, I don’t want to create another name. I can’t have all these names out there. So I just decided to use Leila Grey for that as well.”
Gray appears on both AEW and ROH TV, most recently competing at last week’s ROH taping.
