Steve Austin Talks Hogan, Wrestling Again and More

March 23, 2010 | Posted by Chris Lansdell

An interview with Steve Austin is below. In it he says that while he could physically wrestle again, ” it’s best for me to leave well enough alone and let people remember ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin as that exciting rattlesnake where you never knew what he was going to do.” He also explains why he doesn’t want to wrestle Hulk Hogan:

“A lot of people wanted to see Austin-Hogan because that was the biggest guy from the ’80s and the biggest guy from the ’90s. If it would have happened back in the day when I was extremely white hot, it would have been one thing when we were both in our prime, but the styles are so different. I had a very physical, aggressive style and I’ve always had respect for what he’s done in the business, but his style is a lot different. I don’t think it would have been the chemistry for a great match and I just never cared to wrestle the guy.”
