WWE News: Rumors on Colt Cabana’s WWE Tryout, WWE NXT and FCW Websites Shut Down, Upcoming NXT Taping

– As previously reported, there are reports about Colt Cabana having a recent tryout with WWE. According to a source within the company, there were two tryouts and they actually took place last year and in February. The new look at Cabana happened after CM Punk’s Best in the World DVD, as some people in the company wanted to consider him as an announcer considering how well he came off on that release.

In addition, the source indicated that the company contacted Cabana without CM Punk being involved.

– WWE has shut down the NXT and FCW websites. Both are now pointing to a new WWE NXT section of the WWE website which you can check out here.

– NXT is having a taping in Winter Park, Florida on July 11. Dolph Ziggler is scheduled to appear.
